Chapter 5

Yours if you want it

We passed out last night with Alexis on the couch. We talked and planned until dawn and I knew it was the best idea to talk with Dr. Sean. I loved being a vet but this was Alexis's obsession. She told me, a little after we first moved together on the campus, after a long party where she got pretty drank, that she wants go save enough lives to balance the ones her family extinguished. I looked now at my best friend and smiled at her true heart, she looked so innocent. When I get to know her I promised to protect her even if she was a main threat for my kind. I could still recall the first time we visited my parents and they shouted with me by mind-link that she will kill all of us. After a few hours her being here they realized what I already knew. Alexis had no idea about our existence. Whenever we watched a supernatural movies she got excited saying it would be so cool if those creatures were real. I struggled for years to tell her the truth but I would put my pack in danger not only my family and I couldn't be that selfish. Although I tried to leave a few hits for her but she didn't catch them. I stretched and released a big yawn, Alexis was still sleeping and murmuring in her dream. Every time she did this  I knew she had a nightmare, but if I woke her up before she did alone, she was out zoned for a day. She got scared from all the noises and sudden movements so I just let her escape from her bad dream alone. Alexis said this way she can fight her demons and be happy when she wakes up that it was just a dream. The phone on the wall started to ring loudly and I jumped up with my wolf speed and after a single sound I grabbed the phone. Before I talked in I checked at Alexis, she just rolled over but was still sleeping.  From the phone a powerful voices sounded.

- Hello, I'm looking for Martin Davids.- I swallowed, without knowing him I knew I talked with the Alpha.

- Alpha Carter, my parents are away for a trip. I'm Sara Davids their daughter. What can I help you with?

- I need you to come to the Pack house Miss Davids as soon as possible. - I felt my heart in my chest. I didn't want to leave poor Alexis alone but this was a direct order from the Alpha.

- Yes Alpha, I'll be there in one and a half hour.

- Why so late? - Alpha Carter growled and I shivered.

- I need to get dressed Alpha and drive there.- silence came from the other side of the phone.

- In an hour be here. - Alpha Carter said and hang up. I ran like a crazy to get a quick shower and dressed. In 10 minutes I was ready to go. Alexis lifted her messy head from the couch. I could tell she had a hangover. We wolves could handle a lot more drink then a simple human this is why I wanted to be here with her. I knew that she will feel horrible. 

- Hey! - she forced a smile on her face holding her hurting head.

- Hi Lexi! Listen I have to go somewhere really quick, will you be fine? - Alexis growled and hold her head.

- Yeah, I'm a big girl. As long as you don't shout I'll be okay. - I waved and left the house outside I couldn't restrain my laughter. I was basically whispering to her. Poor Lexi. I drove like a maniac to the pack territory where our pack house was. The gates were already open and the security let me in. I ran to the Alpha's office and without knocking I stormed in. I sat down on the chair in front of his desk and sighed.

- Exactly an hour! - Alpha Carter growled and I hung down my head. I was just an omega but my wolf Sheela was strong and stubborn, I had to push her back not to growl back to our Alpha. 

- Who will knock? - Alpha Carter asked and I lifted my glance. He was a really handsome and powerful man. 

- I'm sorry Alpha, I just wanted to be here on time. 

- Fine. So Miss Davids. I call you here today to ask a few things from you. Here you must be honest with me and if you lie we will know. - We? I thought when the door opened and the most intoxicating scent hit me. It was like my favorite coffee freshly made with a tiny hint of mint. I turned to the door and felt my eyes turning black. Sheela wanted to jump at the guy who entered and she shouted in my head - MATE!. At the same time the most exquisite looking piece of cake smiled at me with  the same black eye color and said in a lustful voice which made me melt in my chair.

- Mate. - He walked to me and I stood up from my chair to sink in his eyes and melt in his kiss when the Alpha growled. We both looked at him and he smiled at us.

- Well this is getting interesting. I'll leave the room for ten minutes and you can talk a little in private, after that we really need to discuss a few things Miss Davids. - Alpha Carter said and his voice was full of happiness. As soon as he left my dream knight stepped to me and held me in his strong arms.

- What's your name my angel? - he asked and his voice was like music to my ears. 

- Sara Davids, and yours handsome? - he grinned at me showing his canines and I just wanted them biting me. 

- Sebastian , but you can call me whatever you want. - I smiled and licked my lips. He growled and pulled me closer giving me the greatest kiss of all. I had plenty of boyfriends but we never got too serious. I wanted to save the best for my mate and here, I got the fruit of my waiting. His taste made me fly to the seventh heaven. When our kiss ended he smirked and said pressing our foreheads together.

- Mine, and only mine! - he growled a little biting my lower lip and grabbing my ass. I blushed a little and kissed his neck sending a shiver down his spine.

- And you are mine. - That moment the door opened and my mate's eyes where chestnut brown again. I felt like someone set me on fire. Alpha Carter walked back to his chair and Sebastian with a sad smile left me out of his hold walking to his side. I sat ack to my chair but couldn't take my eyes off of ma mate. Alpha Carter coughed and I shook my head focusing on him.

- So you met your mate in my brother. - I felt how my mouth opened. His brother?! ?! I looked at Sebastian who laughed at my expression.

- Don't get a heart attack angel. I'm his adopted brother. - I sighed and felt a little more relaxed, how could I be a match for an Alpha? I was confident but not stupid.

- That's true. But I like to refer to Sebastian as my bother, after all he has Alpha blood in him. However he takes his place as my Beta which automatically will make you to our Beta female. So welcome. 

- WHAT?! - I almost shouted and my eyes jumped from Sebastian to Carter and back. 

- You heard that well dear. If you accept me as your mate you will be Beta female.

- Wow... Don't get me wrong but I'm an omega... - Sebastian's expression got worried.

- I said don't get me wrong! I want you! - Carter laughed and Sebastian let out a loud sigh. 

- It is just a lot to process. But  I hope I can grow up to my duties and be the best I can by your side. - Sebastian smiled at me with a proud smile and Carter clapped.

- Now that this issue is fixed. I wanted to ask you about your human friend. - I gulped. They knew about Alexis. 

- Go ahead Alpha. - I said getting myself together.  

- Carter for you from today. We are family here.- I felt how my wolf jumped in joy. Sheela always told me we were made for something greater than be an ordinary omega. 

- Carter, please tell me what is going on. - They chuckled and then Carter's expression changed.

- Sorry but your mate can detect if you lie and also make you tell me everything I want to know, so as I said better if you're being honest with us. - I nodded and heard Sebastian's voice in my head.

- "Everything will be fine angel."- I smiled at him and I was ready.

- How long do you know Alexis Hunter? 

- Dr. Alexis Hunter actually. - I felt how my confidence grew being in the same room with Sebastian also my power increased slowly. This was the mate bond and my own power which was hidden from me until today. I women upped. 

- I have known her since four years. We studied together in the University and we were room mates.

- Does she know about us? - Carter asked.

- I tried to figure that out but she doesn't. Alexis would love if all the "fairy tails" and mystical creatures  were true but she doesn't know that we are real. - Carter and Sebastian shared a look and Sebastian nodded.

- Are you sure about this my angel? - he asked and I felt melting again.

- Yes. 

- Is she dangerous? - Carter asked and I started to think about it.

- Well she could be but she won't hurt anyone. Alexis was raised to kill but she stopped doing that when she was eighteen and left her family. She worked two years and earned her money to the University. She told me many things about her childhood and life but there are a few things she won't talk about. Poor little girl still has nightmares. - Sebastian looked at Carter but he didn't take his eyes off me. Sebastian growled and Carter growled back.

- Dude chill. - Carter said and Sebastien rolled his eyes. 

- You said she could be dangerous. What you mean by that? - I felt that I had to lie. I didn't want to put Alexis in danger.

- Every girl is capable of murder, if you hurt her. - I said with all the confidence of the world. Even Sebastian shivered a little when he saw my eyes getting darker. 

- Nice. But if you want us to leave your friend alone you should be more accurate. Sara we are here today to discuss her future. - I jumped up from my seat and felt how Sheela took over me. 

- You won't hurt her. - Carter growled at me and his wolf made Sheela surrender. 

- We will see that. Now talk. - Carter said and I told him what I knew about my best friend and felt like I was betraying her with every word. When my interrogation was over I walked out of the office and ran to my car. I sat in and started to cry. I stepped on the gas pedal and knew what I should do. We must make our distance with Alexis to keep her safe. It broke my heart to think about this. Something pushed gently my car and I saw Sebastian running by my side in his wolf from. He had a dark brown wolf with a few black in his fur. I stopped the car and get out.

- I can't let him hurt her. - I said to him. Sebastien shifted back and hugged me. I couldn't focus on the fireworks his touch caused and that he was naked. 

- How can I help? - Sebastian only asked this. I knew he get to know Alexis and he knew she was a cute harmless girl.

- Help me earn some time. I'll make my distance with her. This is how she can stay safe but we need time. We were inseparable. - Sebastian gave a peck to my forehead and smiled at me.

- Why are you smiling? - I asked.

- Because you are the sweetest little dancer I have ever seen in my life and I'm happy to have you. To kiss you, and call you mine. - his eyes turned black and I got turned on. I stripped my clothes and there in the middle of the forest I became officially the Silver Hill Pack's Beta female.
