Professor Kats made the typical boring history lessons fun for the entire class. We were in groups acting out different border and territorial disputes. We were able to truly visualize the time frame and how things escalated with ease. One of those issues was the great war of Eltroxus, where only one pair of fated mates, from differing packs, caused the entire kingdom to shift their rules: before, you would have to fight and win your mate. In some cases, you would lose to other suitors, causing heart break and death on all sides. Not being with your mate was something terrible, it seems. It is told it affected many female she-wolves, causing them to take their own lives when their mate was lost in battle.
