“Gabriel!” A voice called out to him and shook his shoulders with enough force to jolt his entire body. It wasn’t a welcome feeling. Far from it. The pain came alive like a burning fire under his skin. He groaned and tried to move away from the hands. “Oh, thank god. He’s alive!” the voice said anxiously. “Gabriel? Wake up.
