After Shanetta left, I decided to take the triplets to the park. I hadn’t had a chance to spend time with them in a stress-free environment in a long time. I was looking forward to the outing, even if it would only be for a couple of hours. I was running low on money again and had to remind myself that I still didn’t have a job, but that would be tomorrow’s problem. Today, I wanted to capitalize on all the good energy we had going on. I might even take them for ice cream, I thought as I loaded them in their booster seats. On the drive to the park, we sang songs from their favorite cartoon, Peppa Pig.
