I sat in the room with the triplets while Damion’s guys replaced my door. I had finally calmed them down and they were happily playing with their toys even though they occasionally side-eyed the men in the living room. I felt incredibly guilty for having these strange men around my children. Chris would flip his s**t if he were here, I thought. It didn’t matter. Chris wasn’t there, and Damion was. I was in deep, and I would have to roll with the punches, at least for a while. Damion walked into my view and nodded for me to come out of the room.
