Damion’s assault had been a good motivator for me to get my things packed by the next day. I had stayed up all night trying to get everything packed because I didn’t know what time the truck was coming. I was terrified of what would happen if I wasn’t done when the truck arrived, so despite my exhaustion, I pushed forward.
