Shane:     Everyone seems extremely excited about tonight's show. Aaron picked three of our best guards to follow and join us tonight backstage. There were a lot of discouraged sighs and grunts which is pretty ridiculous considering the band is going to be part of our pack. At least, I think they are. Aaron insists that Aren will be meeting me with details when she's less busy. He didn't bring her here like I had thought he would. They've been out all day.     "Dude, is that how you're going dressed to the show?" Aaron asked barging into my office.      I have to remember I'm letting it slide right now because he's probably really excited to see his sister perform for the first time since she's left. This is the last time though. I really hate when people don't knock. It's one of my greatest pet peeves.          I looked down at what I'm wearing. Black board shorts and a white fitted t-shirt with the Steelers logo on it. My black and yellow half calf vans and my black Steelers cap. I look good. It's football season. He usually wears something similar. Not at the moment though, he's wearing black straight Jeans with a black t-shirt that has letters meant to look like glass with blood dripping off the edges that read 'My Glass Rocket' printed over a hand holding a bloodied heart. I have to admit it's a badass shirt. I didn't think that an all chick band had dark labels like that.     "What's wrong with this?" I asked.     "It's a rock show. Not a Drake concert,"     "Who's opening for her?" I asked laughing.     "AFI and 30 Seconds to Mars," I looked at him those are legendary bands. "It's an ending tour show. So, it's big,"     I've heard 'My Glass Rocket' was good but I didn't think it was worthy of having AFI and 30 Seconds Mars open for them. Those bands are the s**t. The best there is and have been for a long time. This band had been playing for a little over four years.     "I'm ready. I am not changing into some costume. I'm only going cause she's your sister," he laughed.     "I think it's funny that you already hate it. Just cause they're girls. It was a band of girl who revolutionized rock music. The Runaways?" he said rolling his eyes.      I ignored him as I locked up my office. I hate it when someone comes in here while I'm away. The house was empty as we made our way down to the yard. Several older wolves hung around and greeted us, but everyone is pretty much gone.     "Who's Evo?" I asked as we got to the parking lot.     "What? Evil?" He asked. I laughed at my i***t best friend.     "Evo, the car," I said pointing at the car he was walking to.     "Oh, it's Aren's. She likes cars," Nice. "We can take your car if it's too girly,"     "Yeah, let's take my Hummer," I said. "That thing is pink,"     "It's pearl. Don't let Aren hear you talk s**t about her car. She'll school about how badass it is," he said in a mocking tone. There was an obvious resentment in there. I smirked at him knowing that it bothered him that she knew something he didn't.     I doubt the girl can school me about engines. Cars are a guys thing. Apparently not an Aaron thing, but hey his sister likes cars. Maybe she won't be such a disappointment after all. For the first time today, I kind of found my self a little excited to meet this girl. She still has to pass my trouble test and so far she has been deemed trouble. Big trouble and that isn't going to go well when it comes to my pack.     I've always noticed Aaron lacked a lot of fun guy traits. He doesn't like sports because most of them are too violent, he doesn't like video games because most of them are too violent, he doesn't know s**t about cars. He likes to read, keep his room and other rooms clean and organized. My office is organized because he keeps it that way. I've always wanted to know who the hell raised the guy. Was there even a male figure in his life?     Apparently, backstage didn't necessarily mean backstage. It was the like the side of the stage. There are a lot of cameras, a lot of humans. It's strange. Our kind tends to avoid humans and here she has all of them crammed into an arena where if just one of us snapped there would be a m******e. I'm not the only alpha here and my wolves weren't the only wolves in the audience. Other packs and worse. Other rogues. If that wasn't bad enough the stale stench of vampires faintly wavered in the air. Yet no one acted like there was anything to worry about. All of them blending in with one another like it was natural.     We won't be able to talk to anyone until they completely finished playing. I don't really care for it, but everyone else keeps repeating how stoked they are. Stoked, who the hell still says that? I see what Aaron meant by we're going to a rock show, not a Drake concert. There's a bunch of goths here. High spiked hair, piercings, vampire makeup, fake fangs. What's catching my attention though is the moshing. They aren't necessarily fighting, but bumping each other. They're all having the time of their lives completely enthralled in the moment without the worry of the world outside of this place.     "And they call us animals," Aaron said looking at the moshers.     See what I mean by no manly threads. Aaron is such a girl. I wonder if his sister is just like him or if the roles reversed.     "Don't f*****g tell me what to do. Do you know who the f**k I am? You better get the hell out of my face before I beat the f**k out of you," Wow, I had never heard a female use that kind of language before. At least not one who sounded as angry as she did.     I looked around to see where she was. My wolf urging making me laugh from the anxiety he's causing just to see who this girl is. I took a deep breath a mixture of wet earth and orchids hit me like a ton of bricks. My wolf howling out wanting to look for the scent. That's when we saw her. The most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. Some idiotic woman in her face arguing with her.     "This is what you get, Aren. Take it," she shouted shoving an armful of pink fabric at her.     "f**k that," she said shoving the clothes back. "That's not what I ordered you better take that s**t back and bring me what I ordered before I have to go on stage. I swear, I will not go out there, b***h. You said everything was ready does this look ready?"     "Aren, calm down. She'll fix it. Right, Miles, you'll fix this won't you?" another she-wolf appeared pushing my mate back with a giant grin on her face. The girl named Miles is so close to just bursting into tears.     "She better fix it by the time I need to get on stage," my mate said.     "You're such a f*****g b***h, Aren Glass, good thing you're retiring," the Miles girl spat with anger right before my mate turned around.      Before anyone could react to stop her, my mate pulled back and punch the girl in the face. I couldn't help, but enjoy the scene before me. Even if I couldn't get anywhere near my girl. I couldn't fight the happiness and pride my mate is giving both me and my wolf. She's a feisty perfectionist. Confidence and leadership become her. There was no room for disrespect.     "I hope you have a f*****g back up plan b***h. You're never working for any music industry again. Pack your s**t up, cause as soon as you get me my costumes you're done," Aren said calmly.     "I'm suing," the girl shouted in between cries as someone pulled my mate away.     "You do that. It's going to be the only thing that keeps you from starving," she shouted.      Marie the woman from this morning came out of a room and grabbed her pushing my mate back in the direction she had come from. She didn't look impressed in the slightest almost like this was something that happened often.     "Aren, see reason. We have a show to perform calm down," the first girl that had tried to reason with her interjected.     "Gary, go get the f*****g costumes. She brought us pink outfits. Pink! What kind of s**t Is that?" my mate said as they pushed her back. The anger in her surpassed that of just a show for the cameras that are recording and taking pictures. There is genuine anger in there.     "I got it Alpha. Just go finish up your make up," Alpha? Did she just call my mate alpha?     "Alpha Shane, I am so sorry about that. Aren is under a lot of stress because this is her last show. She usually never takes things that far," Aaron said. I smiled looking down at my apologetic best friend.     "Aaron, It's alright. Your sister is fine," I promised. More than fine actually, she's perfect.      I have to admit I'm a little upset that my mate doesn't know I'm here, but damn what way to make a first impression. I know I'm going to have to work for her love. I need to prepare my self for the biggest challenge I've ever had to face. Taming my mate and making her into the Luna raging inside of her.
