I’m a known high school detective here, yet I still doubt myself a lot. This soul eater case has me questioning if I am really good at the job. Normally, it only takes me minutes to figure out something new and deduce out of it. But since this case happened, I haven’t found even just a single bit of clue that leads to the culprit’s identity. All of F’s friends had motives. But they aren’t really related to L. Officer A is starting to believe that the urban legend is real, and it’s attacking us one by one. Rumors are spreading about how this creature’s targets are artists because they are the ones who create such things as villains, like the soul eater—a horrible thing. Some even say it’s the ghost of former Y, in which this city was named after. I think he died from a tragedy. Years after, a new Y (who’s apparently friends with F) came into this town. For a time, new Y was the center of the talk, because nobody knew where he came from. He said he’s a journalist that was also named after a letter, and him being named after a deceased man was just a coincidence. Now, some are saying new Y is behind all the killings, which pisses him off. He writes the newspaper, and writing about how he’s a suspect is just odd. He talked to me about it two days ago. And what can we do? Innocent until proven guilty.
