when i woke up the following morning i felt sore between my legs, but i guess it was to be expected after he amazing night i had with Ryan. the space next to me was empty and i panicked, Ryan had promise me that he wasn't going to leave.
i pulled on a robe and headed to the kitchen, on my way there i could hear voices coming out from the living room; it was Ben and Ryan's, i made my way to the living room instead since i had already find what i wad looking for.
i stood at the door watching Ryan and my baby brother in a deep conversation about who built the best figure out of legos.
"OK Benny" said Ryan "how about we have a competition putting our best skills to the test" asked Ryan
"what is skills" asked Ben
Ryan laughed and i smile coming into the room and sitting next to them both.
"Alex" yelled Ben excitedly "can you tell me what is skill"
i smiled at my little brother and kissed his forehead.
"let me see how do i explain to you what skills are without complicating it for you" i said
"basically what i am saying Benny is lets have a contest" explained Ryan "the one that builds the best lego figures win"
"is that what skills are" he asked again
"in other words yes" i replied
"OK! lets have a contest" he agreed
"good" Ryan said "tomorrow if Alexis lets us we are going to go to the toy store and buy ourselves some lego that way we can both choose the figures we want to build"
"Alex can Ryan and i go toy shopping tomorrow" asked Ben barely been able to contain his happiness.
"so what are we going to have for breakfast" I asked
"omelet" said both Ryan and Ben at the same time
"OK! omelet it is" i said getting up and heading into the kitchen to prepare breakfast for my two hungry boys.
after a few minutes of walking around the kitchen breakfast was ready, both Ryan and Ben sat silently eating their meal.
"so i got a call from the Blue Mountain hotel" i said "they want me to begin to work tomorrow"
i didn't get a response so i continued
"i told them i would start tomorrow after all the were kind enough to let me settle in before starting to work" i explained
Ryan stopped eating his meal and looked up at me.
"i think its great" he responded "unless you are not ready to start working" he added
"i mean i am ready and as i said the hotel manager was kind enough to allow me to stay home for a week before starting even thou the week is not yet over i can start" i told him
"have you contacted the school to let them know Ben will start earlier than agreed" he asked again
"about that" I said " i wanted to know if i could add you on the pick up list at the school just in case i need you to pick him for me, you know in case i have an emergency and cant go" i added
"sure babe that fine" he said " i don't see why not, in would love to be of any assistance to you besides Bennie is my buddy, right Ben" he said ruffling Ben's hair
"thanks" i said "its only if needed i promise"
Ryan went back to eating his breakfast, but somehow i wasn't convinced that he was ok with me starting to work and I wanted to know why?
