“Goddess be damned! If you didn’t want to be stuck in here, then maybe you shouldn’t have come here!” I groaned, as I got up from my bed, completely naked and walked over to the door where Little Diva was patiently … or not so patiently, waiting to be let out. It had to be early the next day. I could see the sun was barely shining through the curtains, yet the little thing thought it to be a good idea to get up now. She certainly didn’t care if I needed sleep or not.
“Meow!”
“Yes, I’m coming, you crazy animal,” I said, annoyed.
I grabbed the handle and swung the door open, forcing the cat to take a few steps back, but the cat wasn’t the only one who had to take a few steps back …
“Lily?” I whispered breathlessly.
