Eli saw the caravan that carried Yusuf off from the palace. Eli was torn as he said goodbye. On one hand, he felt that he should have departed with him, his oldest friend. On the other hand, after Micha and Eli’s discovery of Oran, another Nephilim in their travels, Eli’s anxiety had lessened. Oran had sworn an oath of loyalty to Yusuf upon Oran’s arrival.
