Carl Flavors was in the war room by himself. The war room was a specialized room in a law firm where the attorneys prepare for trial. Although trial in the royalty case was far off, Daniel ordered the war room be exclusively assigned to the royalty case given the reams of documentation and information needed for the case spanning decades.
Rows and rows of black binders filled with financial documents from the royalty case lined the table. The documents had been scanned into an OCR image by the paralegal so that they could be easily searched and categorized for review and disclosure.
