London Moments Later When Roderick watched his wife exit their hotel room, he surprisingly felt relieved. He no longer needed to explain himself or feel ashamed in front of her presence. Roderick took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Repeatedly doing so calmed his nerves until he saw his briefcase on the desk. Seeing it reminded him of his purpose in London: the royalty lawsuit filed by the mining companies. Suddenly, a rush of mixed emotions filled his body forcing the newfound peace of mind from him. Slowly walking towards the desk like he was approaching a stealthy opponent, Roderick sat down on the chair and stared at the briefcase, endlessly, as if he was ashamed of it or more accurately ashamed of what was inside of it.
