Chapter 14 Surfacing (Esha’s POV) The darkness was endless, thick and heavy, pressing down on me like a weight I couldn’t shake. My limbs felt like they were submerged in quicksand, every attempt to move sluggish and futile. It was terrifying, being stuck in this void, trapped inside my own mind. I wanted to scream, but no sound came out. I wanted to fight, but my body wouldn’t obey. And then, somewhere in that suffocating blackness, I heard a voice.
