Rebecca opened her eyes slowly as she heard people shouting. She had no idea why her eyes felt so heavy. It felt like someone had glued her eyes together. She gazed around, checking her surroundings.
Where was she?
What had happened?
Then it dawned upon her. . .
She was freaking kidnapped from her own home! That bastard had kidnapped her. No doubt Rebecca's mother hadn't wanted to come back here. Maybe she was fed up by the controlling barbarian ways of her brother and father.
The shouting voices coming from outside the room caught her attention again. Getting up from the bed, massaging her heavy head, Rebecca headed towards the door but halted in her tracks when her eyes fell on the photo frames hanging on the walls.
