I don’t take my eyes off the warriors in front of me when I answer Starr. It would be stupid to do so at this point. Those fuc.kers would love nothing more than to strike us down where we stand.
I am confused, though. Starr said Luke told her the Lycan King would be expecting us.
Why wouldn’t he have told his warriors?
Did he tell them, and they don’t care?
It could be that the King didn’t mention Starr to anyone because most wouldn’t believe him. However, I’m sure he would have told them to expect me. The King is more intelligent than this, so these as.sholes knew I would turn up sooner rather than later. Meaning these two are trying it on. They won’t kill us because then they’d have to face the Lycan King.
