Starr After passing out, I slept all night. I woke up this morning undressed and wrapped in my mate’s arms. I didn’t recognize the room we were in, but the scent was familiar. I didn’t dwell because Kai woke up and explained what had happened. Of course, I was embarrassed, but Kai told me not to worry. He also said the room we were in was mine. Moria, the woman who said she was my mother, put us in here because she thought I would be more comfortable. Kai and I showered together, and he held me while I cried. I was overwhelmed by everything that happened since we arrived here. Once we’d showered and changed, Kai led me down to breakfast in one of the great halls. Talk about massive! The table was so long you could fit at least fifty people around it if not more. Right now, I’m standing
