Chapter 16 Abby Was Dying
Abby loved Jason so deeply that she carefully kept him in her heart for 16 years, but no one knew the secret.
Abby looked up at the sky and cried with laugher. She reached out her hand to Jason, but before she touched him, the man in front of her stepped back and dodged her hand in disgust.
Abby caught nothing in the air, while the rain fell on her hand and coldnedd invaded her body.
At that moment, Abby felt that they were far away from each other. Even if she spent all her life, she could not catch Jason.
Just like the rain in the hand...
She looked up at Jason's cold face and whimpered: "Jason, I'm so painful..."
Jason just frowned. He didn't believe Abby's words. In fact, after so many years, Jason knew Abby very well. He knew that she was afraid of pain, but she just kneed for half an hour, which would not make her die.
"Don't pretend, Abby. You just knelt for half an hour, you look like you are dying. Don't worry, your dad won't die and you can stand up."
The body seemed to have been pricked by a needle, and it hurt everywhere. The most painful part was the heart in which every piece of flesh have rotted away.
Abby was still smiling, but the smile was more ugly than crying.
Jason didn't understand why Abby smiled like that. He hated this smile, which disturbed him.
"Youo crazy woman!" Jason scolded and reached for Abby's arm. Then he found that her body was as cold as ice.
Abby's laughter stopped abruptly and her upper body trembled. Jason couldn't catch her. He watched her fall to the side like a rag doll into a puddle.
Abby didn't laugh any more. She didn't even move. Her whole body was paralyzed on the ground, silent as death...
She opened her mouth, and streams of blood flowed out of her mouth, staining the puddle, red and glaring.
Jason's body became stiff for a second, like being hit by a heavy hammer, making him dizzling. Looking at the scene in front of him, he felt unreal.
Finally, his body was faster than his brain. He threw down his umbrella and picked up Abby covered with rain. Her body was not much heavier than before. Her face was so pale that he could see the tiny blood vessels inside.
"Abby!" Jason didn't even realize how much his voice was trembling at this moment, and how much fear was contained in it.
He didn't dare to delay at all, and took her and running into the car tooth and nail.
Mike was sharp eyed and took the initiative to drive as he saw that something was wrong.
Abby leaned loosely against Jason's arms, her long seaweed like hair covered his whole chest, and her eyes half closed in pain.
She deeply looked at the man holding her, her eyelids getting heavier and heavier, but she didn't dare to close her eyes. She was afraid that she would never be able to wake up. Her remaining will was used to look at Jason, wanting to engrave his last appearance in her heart.
"Jason... Jason... Do you know... Sixteen years ago, Abby... Liked you very... Very much... For sixteen years... Now she... Has no strength to like you any more..." Abby said with crying eyes.
It was said that destroying other people's relationship would bring retribution. She didn't believe it before, but now it came.
But she didn't do anything heinous, she just liked a person too much for sixteen years
Abby told him more than once that they had known each other 16 years ago, but sixteen years ago, he had never seen her!
Abby's vision was blurred, and she was gradually falling into the dark. So he couldn't see Jason's tangled expression at the moment
Her chest twitched suddenly, and a gulp of blood came out again, dyeing Jason's shirt red.
"Abby, what happened to you?" Jason wiped the blood on her face anxiously, but the more he wiped, the more red his hands were.
His head was full of sweat and his eyes became red. It was the first time that he felt that human life was so fragile. Abby lying in his arms, seemed to be dying.
Abby... Abby...
Jason repeated this name in his heart. He didn't admit that he cared about her. He panicked because she had the same blood type that Mia needed.
……
When he ran into the hospital with Abby in his arms covered with blood, everyone was startled. The reception called with a walkie talkie, and immediately a nurse pushed the operating car.
"To the emergency room!" The doctor looked at the dying Abby and made a decision instantly.
Jason was stopped at the door of the operation. After watching the door close, the inexplicable sense of fear almost burst into his chest.
His hand quivered a little. He wanted to open the door in front of him, but he didn't dare to. He was at a loss, frightened, and timid, like a child walking out of the house for the first time with unknown fear.
The chill air from the air conditioner was drying the blood on Jason's shirt which turned into a dark red blood clot with rust smell , while he was staring at the operating lamp in despair.
The nurse on the side had never seen such a handsome man in reality. Seeing his uneasy look, she walked over to comfort him: "Don't worry, the patient will be fine..."
Jason didn't seem to hear it. He lowered his head, spread out his hands and looked at the blood clot on his hands. He was a little distracted to look at the fine blood ash flying from his hands when he rubbed his hands.
With this move, he noticed that Abby's blood was not only on his hands, but also on his coat, trousers and arms.
Why did she vomit so much blood?
Jason suddenly felt a little cold. He looked up at the ceiling and found that the air outlet of the air conditioner was not far away. No wonder his body was so cold.
……
In the operating room.
Abby was lying on the operating bed. Her stomach was twitching constantly. Mouth after mouthful of blood came out like an endless stream, soaking the sheets red.
It was so painful... Abby was crying. Her brain couldn't work and her body was so painful that she couldn't tell whether it was reality or illusion.
Many pictures appeared in front of her like movies. They were all about Jason who was angry, holding her, calling her name, slapping her in the face, humiliating her...
They turned into bubbles one by one, and they were crushed in the mind, breaking up bit by bit, and finally merged into a pool of water to form the last picture.
That was Jason 16 years ago.
Abby couldn't remember what Jason looked like sixteen years ago. She only vaguely remembered that the teenager was a head higher than her, with a clean smile on his face and thin arms. When he was carrying her, he had the strength not in line with his age, which made her feel safe.
That spring, seven year old Abby was taken to the playground by Shaun and thrown away. It was Jason who picked her up and carried her back.
On the way, Jason bought her candied haws and coaxed her with a smile: "Little crying girl, I invite you to eat candied haws, which are very sweet, so don't cry after you eat them."
She tasted one and feel cheated. It was sweet outside but sour inside, but it was the best taste she had ever tasted in her life, which was still unforgettable.
When she got home, she had a rash because she was allergic to hawthorn after body check.
From then on, she never ate that again.
She liked Jason just like the candied haws that made her allergic.
She knew she couldn't touch it, but she did not hesitate to touch it.
Life was like a movie. For 16 years, the tender youth had become so callous, he seemed to be a different person, and he was no longer the one who would use candied haws to coax her.
She made a four-year best that Jason would love her, betting that he would remember everything about sixteen years ago, but in the end, she lost desperately .
The infatuation of youth was just her wishful thinking.
"Emergency, the saturation of blood oxygen is reduced, and the patient's condition is dangerous!"
"The patient is suffering from advanced gastric cancer. We must ask her family members to sign an operation agreement and a notice of critical illness. Go and ask Dr. Mog to come here for rescue operation!"
"Di" the instrument made a cold and harsh sound...
