After the interview with Anna and Tristan, there was a break before Jacob and Emma were to be called. As soon as Anna walked down, Emma ran to her.
“That was amazing, Anna. You and Tristan make a fine couple!” Emma praised. She then turned to her husband who was a few steps away from her and asked.
“Don’t you agree, Jacob?” She asked with a bright smile. She had noticed that there was something off with him that day. Jacob wasn’t the type who always had things to say but he gave compliments when needed, especially if an important person like Tristan Reyes was before him.
There was something wrong.
“Yes, of course. Anna is a beautiful woman after all. Mr Reyes is a lucky man.” He said and both Tristan and Emma’s brows creased out of surprise.
