Reagan lay in his bed, unable to fall asleep even though he was exhausted as thoughts of his mate ran through his mind. Reagan couldn't help it due to the immeasurable excitement that washed over him. Nonetheless, he needed all the rest he could get. The future wasn't going to be easy; that notion couldn't miss Reagan's mind either. It nagged at him just as his mate's appearance made his heart joyful. Reagan sighed. He closed his tired eyes while ignoring his wolf, who finally decided not to be mad at him anymore. However, it wasn't to applaud Reagan for handling the situation skilfully as he did but to nag him about going to sleep on their mates' bed at the hospital. Reagan made it known how that was not happening. Then again, his wolf was thick-skulled and wouldn't take no for an answer
