Chapter 2

Unknown POV

As I trot thru the woods realizing I have been gone for hours and the sun is now up, I am still unable to relax from the dream I had. I smell the most wonderful scent my favorite smells in the whole world lilacs and vanilla, I put my nose up in the air trying to figure out the direction as I hear two young she-wolves talking. As I stalk forward as quietly as possible I see her...the girl from my dream and my goddess she smells wonderful! Have I found her? Have I found my mate!!! Oh, how I have been searching everywhere for her.

"Is this our mate Jax? have we found her"

"I'm not sure but judging from the smell I would say yes, however she doesn't seem to notice us and we can't see her eyes perhaps ...she hasn't shifted yet?" he answers

Then suddenly she turns as she is walking and stops, she begins to scan the forest where I am crouched watching her as she scans all I can see is her long black hair and those beautiful green eyes. "Mate!!" Jax cries out in my head jumping around and begging me to just run to her.

Her eyes seem to find mine and all I can do is stare back. Her eyes get wide and she seems startled which snaps me out of my stalkerish behavior all I can hear her say is "Lisa do you see those eyes?" Her friend looks and as she gets to where I am standing she tilts her nose in the air, I back up startled, thinking this may not be the best time to go running out especially since I'm not even apparently still on the pack lands where I was visiting. Jax is going crazy in my head and growling at me, I decide to turn to leave and perhaps do this the correct way.

Her friend grabs her and I can't hear what's being said but they continue on hurrying just a bit faster than before as I stalk off thru the woods trying to figure out whose pack lands I have wandered onto in my haste to forget the dream I had. I stop and continue to watch as she walks away from me. "I will be back little mate ... very soon"

Adra POV

As we are walking and discussing the full moon shift I feel like someone is watching me. I stop and scan the woods across the road from us, as I am looking I see two very gold eyes staring at me. I'm not exactly uncomfortable but I have the strangest feeling.

Lisa stops "Hey Adra what's up? Are you ok?" "Yeah ... Lisa do you see those eyes?" I answer, she stops and starts to look in the direction that my eyes were scanning the woods. She puts her nose up in the air trying to see if she can scent anything as she looks, even though she hasn't shifted she already has her wolf so her sense of smell is much better than mine. "Adra" She says in almost a whisper, as she tenses up a little, "Nat says we should keep moving and I smell a light scent of a male I don't know, we need to keep walking" She grabs my arm lightly pulling me so we begin to walk again. As I scan the woods again I no longer see the eyes watching me but I still feel like someone is there and pick up my pace a little. Neither one of us really says much as we continue on to school.

As we walk thru the front doors both of us relax a bit more knowing whatever or whoever it was couldn't follow us here. I give Lisa a side hug as we split in two different directions to go to homeroom and then to our lockers to start our day. " See ya at lunch Lisa good luck with your finals!" "Same to you girl!!" She answers as she heads down the opposite hall. After the bell rings for homeroom I head to my first final of the day completely oblivious to my surroundings, I'm so deep in thought about this morning that I run into what feels like a wall. As I bounce back two strong hands reach and grab my arms steadying me before I can fall. "Oh my goddess, I'm so sorry I say" as I look to see who I ran into. Of course, it had to be the next Alpha Liam.

"Hey, you good? You didn't get hurt did you, sorry if I grabbed your arms too hard I didn't want you to fall down" He says as he looks down at me smiling, a smile that reaches his very dreamy silver/grey eyes. With wide eyes, I bow my head showing submission immediately "OH! Alpha Liam, I apologize I was just so stuck in my thoughts about my final coming up." Oh my goddess, I'm SO mortified I think to myself. "Adra it's fine don't worry about it just..you know maybe watch where you are walking so you don't get hurt I might not be there to catch you next time," He says smirking "Good luck with your test!" Liam says as he begins to walk away. "thank you Alpha, I will do my best" Flashing my best smile back as he walks off. Holy s**t I think to myself what was that!

I mean he is always a very kind person and I am sure he will be a great alpha but holy s**t he is hot! At 6'8" with Moca-colored hair, the most beautiful brown eyes with flecks of gold in them, and built like a brick s**t house, I have no idea how his shirts fit him. Goddess that felt like I ran into a brick wall I am so embarrassed as I look around I realize everyone is looking at me watching him walk away, I turn fifty shades of red realizing I was watching his ass. So I quickly walk away looking at the floor heading to my first class to take my final. "Goddess, I hope this week goes fast I just can't wait to get my wolf." I think to myself
