Chapter 30

I had my hoodie off my head, after letting down my hair and making sure my neck was properly covered. So that I don’t get to put myself at risk, though I didn’t know Why I had to keep protecting it. The flower sign on my neck signifies the curse. The reason why I don’t have my wolf and why I might never find my mate and there I would be just stuck somewhere. It was the old man's last wish, that I should not let anyone see it. I promise him I would never let anyone see it though I didn’t ask him why to know the reason at least. So I came up with a few hypotheses, that I might disappear and turn to sand or whatever if someone did see it. Or I might get recognized, that I was cursed. And someone that should have been killed. There had been a lot more that I had come up with, that I don’t even want to talk about. Albeit had some piercing needles in my hand, and that was what I was staring at. The alpha was still there, and Creamy too. I thought he would leave, but he didn’t. And he was still here, they were at a corner and Albeit was talking to them. He didn’t mind linking so I was able to hear a few. “..she’s strange, that was something weird about her. I got the feeling as soon as I touched her.” I touched my hands. That was me, I was strange. I had always been, it wasn’t something new, but what was new was the look he gave me, he caught me staring at them and smiled softly, his gaze was short and affectionate. Like he understands what I was going through as if he could see through me, those eyes. The last time I saw someone stare at me that way was the old man. When he was in my arms. I looked away from them. “..she would be fine won’t she?” “Yes, by tomorrow she would be better.” I didn’t need to hear more, I had the duvet over my body, I should probably get a bath as he had said but I couldn’t stand nor could I wash. I shut my eyes, maybe I should sleep, once I’ve got had a good sleep. I’ll be fine and better than ever. “Hey, green eyes.” That got my eyes wide open, flustered to find his face a few inches away from mine, he was squatting and was staring at my face. I gulped. This was the first time I was staring at him so close. His eyes were perfect cinnamon brown, those noses I was tempted to run my fingers through it, the thin lips and chiseled jaw, he looked like some god, well he was, the was their god there, they worship him.! His looks were just perfect, and he was the first man I’ve seen who looked this way. Super handsome and dead hot! And I wanted to hurt him, grabbed him and bite or hit, anything at all. Why does it aches each time he was close to me, and even now it was worse. I had to control myself, I can’t do anything to him here. I slapped my face. “What’s wrong?” He asked, holding the hands that I had slapped my face with to get me back to reality. I pushed him off and yanked the hand away from his grip. Then I rose slowly. Sitting comfortably. “What are you doing so close and don’t call me green eyes.” “Really?” “Why would you call me that. I’ve got a name, creamy was calling me that too.” “What should I say, it’s the only thing we both liked about you.” “Meaning?” “You shouldn’t let us say it.” “I’ll take my leave now alpha.” They nodded at him and Creamy walked him to the door. Zyair stood up and sat on the bed. “If you want to leave here sooner, try not to get sick.” “I’m not the sickly type. When would I be out of here.” “Soon.” “How soon.” He shrugged. “You won’t like sleeping in the dungeon would you.” I would find my way out soon if he wasn’t gonna let me. I might as well flee. My escape plan would be of full impart. “Do you like a male that much, you don’t want a female to assist you. If you had had one it wouldn’t have been this difficult for us. You prefer creamy to stay with you.” “I don’t want anybody. I’m fine on my own.” “Such a loner ain’t you.” I was. That was me. Why was he acting all calm like he didn’t hate me? Was he acting or something. I just can’t understand him. He was unpredictable. And I must say complicated. Trust me. “If you get better by tomorrow evening. I’ll take you somewhere.” My eyes lit up, an opportunity and I must make good use of it. I won’t let it slip. “Where?” “Within the pack. But far from eyeshot.” I nodded with a sly grin. Even if I wasn’t fine by tomorrow. I would appear to because I have to leave here and I would leave here even if it means killing him. But can I? “You should bath. Creamy would bring you some clothes to change into.” He winked. Jerk. “Get some rest.” I didn’t say anything. My thoughts were on how I was gonna escape from here, because I know I would. He didn’t know he made a big mistake telling me he would take me somewhere tomorrow evening. Perfect time to strike. I chuckled softly. And touched my dagger where it was hidden inside my cloth. He left the room with Creamy who said he would come back. He had to get the food and clothes and things that I would need. Not that I wanna be like an evil witch, it’s just how I’m and I can’t change it not now because I don’t know what to do to change my fate. ****
