Chapter Ten We pulled up on to the drive of a house I’d never even seen before let alone been to. It was MASSIVE! How did I not know about this place, It wasn’t far from my house, but, it was well hidden up side road. Still, just a bit weird I never even knew there was a house like this not far from mine.  ‘Where are we?’ I asked, confused. He smiled and unbuckled himself before getting out and opening the back doors, Messing around, getting a pile of work books out.  ‘This is my house’. I felt my jaw drop. This.. was HIS house? How the hell did he afford this place on a teaching wage? I heard they don’t make that much money. ‘Unless you want me to take you home? I looked away and shook my head. ‘Ok then, Come on then’. I got out of the car and walked around to help him carry the books to the front door. He unlocked it and headed inside. I heard a weird noise and some scratching before I clocked a large grey blur running towards us. It scared me for a minute before Mr Taylor dropped his stack of books down on the floor and the fluffy grey blob jumped at him.  He turned around to show me, and my heart instantly melted.  ‘This is bubba’. He told me, showing me the cutest husky I had ever seen.  ‘Bubba?’ that was a weirdly cute name. It suited him… at least, I’m guessing it's a him. His eyes were icy blue, and when he looked at me, he c****d his head to the side as if confused that I was stood there. I shared his confusion.  ‘Yeah, He’s a softy’. He gave him another love before letting him get back on to the floor, Slowly as if caution, he made his way other to me. I stuck my hand out and Bubba sniffed it. Doing that usual dog thing, making sure I was ‘’safe’’ I guess.  ‘He’s adorable!’. He barked happily and let me stroke him. ‘He’s a bit of a cuddle slut, so be warned, he probably won’t leave you alone now.’ I couldn’t help but smile.  ‘I don’t care! I love Huskies, but mum and dad won't let me have one’. He just chuckled and picked the pile of books back up and took them down a corridor some where and out of sight. As soon as he was gone, Bubba ran after him. Smiling, I picked my pile of books back up and followed after them.  Rounding the corner, I walked in a larger than large open plan kitchen and lounge. There was a desk, where I could see the other work books were and went and put my stack there too. There was no sign of Mr Taylor or the doggo though.  I couldn’t help but be nosey and visually look around the room. His kitchen was Black, black ...and more black, but it was so shiny and clean. His lounge part of the room had a large L shaped sofa and a matching cuddle chair, all aimed at a big TV that was mounted on the wall. It put a cinema screen to shame.  Fucking hell, was Mr Taylor rich?!   ‘Hey, here, put this on’. I jumped when he suddenly came out of nowhere and took the hoodie that he was holding out to me. I smiled, I took it, thanking him. I slipped it on and wrapped myself up in it. ‘Go sit over on the sofa. Do you want a drink?’ I nodded, ‘What do you want? Tea, coffee, Hot chocolate?’ Ooo a hot choccy sounded good.  ‘Can I  have a Hot Chocolate please?’  ‘Sure’. I watched him as he went in to the kitchen and started making the drinks, one for me and one for himself. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get warm, The hoddie helped and Im sure the hot drink will help too, but my clothes were still soaked through. ‘Here’. He picked up some sort of remote and pressed a few buttons.  Suddenly, the fire place switched on and erupted with flamed.  Wow.  I moved closer and the heat coming from it was so toasty and warm. I was finally getting warm. I sat on the floor in front of it and closed my eyes. It was so relaxing.
