*Pryce Winsley's POV*
---
"What do you mean, I'm a vampire?" I asked Blair in confusion as I am puzzled as heck about why she would say such a thing. I mean, I know being a half-werewolf is quite shocking already, now what more is an additional one? The more, the merrier? Maybe.
And the response of my great mate is just pointing at her mouth. What does she mean by that? Kiss? Make out? Hmm?
Then she pointed to her eyes, next. What now? She what? Stare at me? Oh, stalks on me! I know, she always does before. She is just a freak being one, you know.
Finally, she pointed to her left forearm with her right middle and index fingers. What is it this time? Her fingers? Oh, yeah, they are nice as heck. And, please, green mind, leave me alone for a while, while we settle this situation of mine. Just come back later.
When she noticed my clueless face, she gave me a look that seemed to say, "do you get it now?". And, the heck, not.
"What was it, Blair? Can you speak English? Please?" I asked her with my sheepish smile because I really don't know what she meant. And the pretty girl just looked at me with her blinking lovely green eyes.
She took a deep breath before replying to me and pointing to her body parts again, "You have... Red eyes. Four sharp fangs like mine. And pale skin. One more thing..." She paused as she dragged me to the part of her room where there is a table and a mirror.
"See that? You cannot see your reflection. Or mine." She added as her reflection disappeared when she whispered a spell to her necklace to transform her back to her vampire form.
"Hmm, wow! Now, how did it happen?" I let out in amazement after a moment of my mind processing the information, and I asked her, to which she went to laugh nervously and stuttered in reply.
"Well, I... we... when we... Umm, you know. That night that we... that we did something amazing, I... umm, I tried to convert you into something like me—a vampire. I just want to fend off that prophecy that you should die. I know if you ever become one, you can fight for your safety because you can do whatever I can. I thought I failed, but... here you are. I have never been so happy that I am with you right now, Pryce. But I am so sorry that I did it without your consent. I could have asked you first, but I... my mind was clouded with---" she explained, but I cut her off with my left index finger on her lips because I don't want her to feel bad about herself in doing such.
"Hey, it's okay. It's alright, Blair. Well, I should be thanking you because... I am here and alive that I am with you. Thank you for everything that you have done for me. I feel indeed so damn happy, too, that I am with you right now. I love you so much, my Blair. Always know that." I told her and confessed with all my truth which made my mate make a face that is about to cry. Aww, isn't she the most adorable vampire ever? Her red eyes are turning green, and her lips are slowly pouting. I badly want to kiss her. Can I? Yeah, I will. She's mine, anyway.
"I love you, too, Pryce. With all I have and with all I am. Can we kiss now? Please?" She replied while facing me and smiling like she usually does, idiotically wide and bright, and she finally asked a thing we both wanted so much since earlier.
"You don't have to freaking ask for it, you freak. Get in here." I answered and eagerly grabbed her nape to finally claim her lips with mine so that we could begin this dance.
When our lips were about to touch, I closed my eyes to savor the amazing sensation that I am about to feel with the love of my life, but then, I quickly opened my eyes as I felt something peculiar. And I snapped my head in the direction near the window as I saw something there. Someone, particularly.
"Blair," I muttered to inform my girl about the presence of someone in her room, and she hastily turned back into her vampire form.
"Oh, pardon me for barging in."
It is a deep voice of a man, and Blair moved to make me stay behind her as her hands fired up and ready to attack the intruder. Well, whoever he is, he f*****g destroyed a damn intimate moment of two people in love. I might as well use my vampireness if necessary.
"Who the fudge are you to come and trespass in someone else's room? Don't you know how to go to the door and knock? Don't you know basic human courtesy? Oh, maybe because you are not one. Speak your purpose, Vampire, or you shall meet your end from this mad hybrid. I'm a half-witch, by the way; if you don't know where this fire is coming from, and you wouldn't wanna make a mess with me. Or Us. Now, speak. Talk!" Blair asked and asserted like a person whom you should be scared of because you know that you are facing your worst nightmare.
And, I heard her gritting her teeth when the man let out a soft laugh as he walked closer to where we are.
"Take another step, and you will lose your chance in talking. What is so fudging hard in stating a damn purpose? Oh... you must be... If you are here to kill her, you will pass through me first, and I say, I never go easy on anyone. You have three seconds to talk. One..." My furious mate warned and began counting while I try to stay calm and alert to whatever attack this man might do to us. And, I guess that he is alone.
"I am not an enemy, to start with. Well... Your mother is right. You are so powerful and intimidatingly adorable. It's so good to see you again, Claudette. I'm truly glad that both of you are alive. My greetings, Your Highness, Pryce, formerly King Alcatraz. You might not remember, but I am a great fan of that man." He began with a bright familiar smile, and it made me and my girl curious to know who he is. Why does he call Blair by her second name?
"You knew my mother? Who are you?" Blair asked him as she seems a bit calmer now, and her fire has been slowly disappearing.
"I thought you would recognize... but never mind, Little One. I apologize for not introducing myself beforehand. I am Dracovick Sperova. And---" He answered and told us his name, but my mate cut him off.
"Oh, fudge! King Draco of the Vampires. Your Majesty, I'm sorry. Wait up... You are...? Oh, damn!" Blair let out and bowed before the man, and I am kind of getting something, too.
Isn't the King of the Vampires her father? That is what I remember clearly.
"Yes, my child. I am." He confirmed with a reassuring smile, and I turned to look at my girl, who seemed to be seeing something she couldn't believe.
"Dad. You are my father." She uttered in awe, and the man nodded his head lightly in response.
I knew it. It's her father.
