He saw the way he felt reflected back at him in Matt’s loving gaze. “This is happening,” Matt whispered. “Next week!”
“I’ll make an honest man out of you yet,” Vic joked. “No more living in sin.”
“Lucky me.” Matt gave him another kiss, then took the takeout bag he offered. “Let me get this food on the table and then I’ll tell you all the details.”
Vic took his seat in the dining room and waited as Matt emptied the bag and divvied up their food. Once their plates were full, Matt explained, “So Thursday it’ll be you and me and Kendra’s cousin—Tay—and his husband, Ty. I already asked if we could bring Sadie and he said yes. He asked if we wanted her to be the ring bearer but I don’t think so.”
“He knows she’s a dog, right?” Vic asked, confused. “How would she hold the rings?”
