Chapter 10: Sabina's P.O.V.

2041 Words
Alessio stayed on the phone with me the whole way back to my apartment. I felt eyes on me the entire way. It really creeped me out, but staying on the phone with Alessio helped. He really knew how to distract me. Once I had made it back, Alessio hung up the phone. He told me that he was walking to a place to get food, and would be over as soon as possible. There was a note on the fridge from Nick saying that he was going out. Nina isn't here either. I hope she's with Avery. I blew out a breath as I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. I chugged the entire bottle in one go. Then I grabbed another, and chugged half of that. I know that I usually drink a lot of water, but this is ridiculous. I drank a whole bottle on the walk here, and three bottles while I was in the library. Why do I feel so dehydrated? I took another bottle of water and my bag out to the balcony. I dropped my bag on the couch, and sat down. Then I pulled all of my flashcards out. I had just started to read over the first one when there was a knock at the door. Alessio is here already? It's been like… maybe ten minutes. I got up, and walked to my door. I peek out from the peephole. It really is Alessio. I opened the door, and the man beamed at me. I've honestly never seen anyone so goddamn se.xy in my life. He looks even better in black too. His tight black jeans are squeezing the life out of his large thighs. The fabric of his black T-shirt is straining against his broad chest and huge arms. His hair is down, and tucked behind his ears. Alessio is like a damn God. "Hey cutie, I hope you're hungry." He said as he held up a bag of take-out. I raised a brow at him. "How am I supposed to study and eat crab legs at the same time?" I asked. "And… Harry's Lobster Shack? That place is expensive." Alessio rolled his eyes. He wrapped his free arm around my waist to push me to the side. My heart started to beat frantically. Alessio smirked at me. He let me go, and set the bag on the counter. "First of all, I'm supposed to be impressing you. You said you loved seafood," he said. "Yeah, but…" I trailed off. "Don't worry. I will crack everything open, cut everything up, I'll even feed you if you want. Or, I can read your flashcards while you eat." He offered. I smiled. And then I frowned. "How did you know I use flashcards?" I asked. Alessio paused for just a second. "Just guessed." He said shrugging. "So, you wanna eat in here, or out there?" He asked, pointing to the balcony. "The balcony," I said. Alessio snatched up the bag, grabbed my hand, and pulled me to the balcony. He pushed me to sit down while he set everything up. The guy even handed me a huge bottle of water. I looked at everything, then I looked at Alessio. "What?" He asked. "Isn't this… a bit much?" I asked. Alessio laughed. "I told you, I'm trying to impress you," he said. "Fancy things don't impress me," I replied. Alessio smirked at me. "I didn't pick this shack place because it was fancy. I picked it because it was the only place open that sold seafood, and you told me you loved seafood. I grabbed water because that's all you drank yesterday, other than the tequila. I wasn't sure what else you liked, and I didn't want to fu.ck it up." He told me. My face heated with embarrassment. I averted my eyes as I started to mentally kick myself. Firm fingers gripped my chin, pulling my eyes back to Alessio's green and blue ones. "Wanna know a secret?" He whispered loudly. A slow smile spread across my face. "What?" I asked softly. "I probably would have picked the expensive place anyway." He told me with a fake forced smile. I sputtered out laughter as I pushed on his chest. Alessio let go of my chin to start pulling food out. "You can't ever yell at me for spending a dumb amount of money on you. I should say that now. I have a tendency to over spend." He told me. "How are you not broke then?" I asked. Alessio smiled at me. "I make money honey, don't you worry about it," he said. I laughed. "What if I don't want you to spend a bunch of money on me?" I asked him. Alessio shrugged. "Listen babe, I'll try, but no promises. I spend a lot of money on myself. It's only natural to want to spoil my girl too." He replied. "I'm not your girl." I said flatly. "Not yet," Alessio said. I looked at him to see him completely serious. I really just don't get him. He seems... so genuine about wanting to date me. Could a guy like Alessio really be serious about me? Alessio doesn't seem like the serious type at all, to begin with. Maybe this is all just a joke to him. Some kind of challenge. He seems like the type to like a challenge. "What's that look for? I don't like it." Alessio said with his face scrunched up. "I don't understand why you're doing this," I admitted. Alessio rolled his eyes, and handed me a crab cake. "I don't understand why it's so hard for you to believe that I like you," he replied. "You don't ev-" "Even know you. Yeah, yeah." Alessio interrupted me. "I just don't see why I have to know everything about you to be interested. Can't I just look at you, and think 'hey, that girl looks like she could have my babies one day'?" He asked. My jaw dropped. "H-have your babies?" I squeaked out. Alessio laughed. "Well, not right away. Like a few years down the road, but… Same idea." He said casually. I blinked at him. "You took one look at me, and thought that I could be… like your one and only?" I asked incredulously. "Yup." Alessio said, popping the p. I shook my head at him. This guy is crazy. Whatever, he'll lose interest soon. "Sabina," Alessio said my name softly. I looked up into his interesting eyes. "I don't know why you are having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that I like you. I want to know, but I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable by asking. I'll just wait until you feel comfortable enough to share that on your own. You'll realize eventually that I'm serious about you. Because I'm not going anywhere. Eventually, you'll have no choice but to see that we're made for each other." He said. My lips parted, but no words came out. What do I even say back to something like that? Honestly, I should be running for the hills. I just met this guy yesterday. It's kind of creepy how hard he's trying, but... I don't feel creeped out. I don't feel uneasy around Alessio. And for some reason, the fact that we met yesterday isn't deterring me from him. If I'm going to be honest, I feel... special. Like.. really special. No one has ever said something like that to me before. I don't know how to respond to it. "W-what if we don't even have chemistry? What if I turn out to be a cold-hearted bi.tch? What if you turn out to be some controlling psycho?" I asked. Alessio laughed. "Oh, I'm a psycho baby, but I'm not controlling. More like clingy. I'll follow you anywhere you go. And I don't believe for a second that you're cold-hearted. As for the chemistry… Baby you know we have a lot of it already. Otherwise, you would never have let me come back here." He teased. Fu.ck. He has a point. "Stop calling me baby." I grumbled. "Sure thing, cutie," Alessio replied. I rolled my eyes at him. "If you really aren't sure, we could always kiss," Alessio said. My eyes widened, and my face flushed. "I-I a-am not k-kissing you." I said as I looked down at the flashcards in my lap. "What if I kiss you then?" He asked. I wasn't sure how to respond. Or if I was even going to respond at all. Then Alessio put two fingers under my chin, and gently tilted my head back up. I met his eyes, and my breath hitched. When did he get so close to me? Alessio kept his eyes on me as he slowly leaned in. Whoa.. That's an intense look. He's moving so slowly. Like he's giving me time to back away if I want to. If I want to… Do I want to? No, I don't think that I really do. I closed my eyes, and waited. My heart started to beat even faster. I bet even Alessio can hear it. I started to feel impatient. The anticipation is getting to me. I just want him to... I felt Alessio's lips brush across my cheek, all the way to my ear. "Do you still think we don't have chemistry, Sabina?" He whispered in my ear. "You seem rather impatient for someone who wasn't even sure if she'd like kissing me. Do you have different views now?" Tingles ran down my spine as his breath tickled my neck. "Answer me, Sabina. Do you want me to kiss you?" He said, demanding an answer. Alessio nibbled on my earlobe. Heat burst through me, rushing right to my core. I reached out to grip onto Alessio's shirt. "Hmmmm, you smell so damn good. I could take a bite out of you right now." He said as he took in a deep inhale. I smell good? "Your heart is beating so fast." He told me. Alessio can hear that? "You want me to kiss you, don't you, Sabina?" He asked. I really do. "Answer me." Alessio demanded, although it sounded desperate. "Yes," I breathed out immediately. "Kiss me Alessio." Before I could even think about taking it back, Alessio smashed his lips to mine. His kiss wasn't soft, it was hard and desperate. Sparks shot throughout my body as his lips moved against mine. Is this what people mean when they see fireworks? This is… amazing. I've never been kissed like this. He isn't even using his tongue. Alessio pulled away from me. I was quick to capture his lips again. I don't know what came over me. I just.. Don't want to stop. I never want to stop. In fact, I want more. I want to know what his tongue feels like. I slipped my own tongue out to lick the seam of Alessio's lips. I felt him go rigid, and try to pull away. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and pulled him back to me. I licked the seam of his lips again. He still wouldn't open up for me. Alessio pulled away from me enough to utter a word. "Sab-" I interrupted him by shoving my tongue into his mouth. I moaned, embarrassingly loud at the taste of him. My tongue explored every inch of his mouth. Finally, Alessio broke out of whatever haze he was under. He slipped his tongue into my mouth, exploring me back. Alessio has a very skilled tongue. I wonder what else it can do. I want to find out. Right now. Suddenly, Alessio pulled away from me completely. I stumbled forward at the loss of him. Thankfully, I'm sitting down, or I would have fallen on my face. I looked up to see a deep blush across Alessio's entire face. Wow. He looks... extremely adorable like that. Totally innocent and different from his normal co.cky smirk. "I-I don't want you to hate me if you don't study," he said. I guess he's right, but I really did like kissing him. Still, I should study. So, I fixed my flash cards in my lap. "Guess we really do have chemistry."
