The house was almost empty, it was just I and Zane in the house , Cora was still on her trip with Bruno, and Emma, Ava and Dylan had gone back home.
My and Zane's relationship grew stronger than we ever were before, but there was still the issue of telling Cora the truth , which Zane never ceases to remind me every chance that he gets.
He wanted so desperately for us to be a family and I understood that, it was not like I was never going to tell her the truth. I was just taking my time, you know, looking for ways to soften the news as much as I could, I couldn't just ruin her by telling her that I had lied to her all her life. No, the mere thought of that kills me.
