“Rainy!” I giggle as little Toby runs at me as soon as I walk through Jenna's front door. I lift him into my arms and hold him tightly. He wraps his little arms around my neck and kisses my cheek. “Me missed you.”
“I missed you too, special boy.”
“Me love you, Rainy.”
“I love you more,” I wink, making him giggle.
I love this little boy so much it hurts. Holding him in my arms and hearing him tell me he missed me and that he loves me makes the decision to move to Seattle with my friends so much easier to make. I laugh as he wriggles out of my arms and jumps into his father's.
“Hi,” I smile as Brandon kisses my cheek in greeting.
