Three Months Later...
I got the call this morning. Foster Morino was sentenced to thirty-five years – not fuc.king long enough – imprisonment for the rape, battery, trafficking, and slavery of seven underage girls.
Seven!
Vile pervert.
Sarah, along with Nancy and three other women, all gave evidence against Morino. Even though his lawyer tried to discredit my girl, she held firm and made damn sure that the jury understood exactly what Morino put her through.
Sarah faced him in that courtroom like a woman on a mission, and she was on a mission to put Morino in prison for a very long time. Not once did Sarah make eye contact with him, even though he didn’t take his eyes from her. I was so damn proud of her.
Of course, she’s been more than just nervous waiting for the verdict. H
