I had no idea what to do for the rest of my time, alone.
Thanks to the taxi driver, I found myself a good hotel and called Rayan about getting a room.
"Good. I was hoping you would be on the road now"
He knew me well.
"Ate?"
"Not yet"
'Get some bread and eggs"
They were my favorite recently. They were moms too.
"Oi, don't get too emotional. Try to stay on track. We got a mission"
Now that I was alone, it was the only thing that ran in my head. So he didn't have to keep reminding me.
"I know its hard. But first, you need to get yourself inside that building"
I had seen it, I wanted to say. The thirteen-leveled building wasn't something you could ignore if you arrived there. I laughed,
"That place is huge"
"Yeah, I can sense the sarcasm"
He knew me too well.
'Get yourself inside"
I didn't know how.
"In the most easiest and less suspicious way"
I laughed. So did he.
"How the hell would I?"
"I don't know. Figure out a way"
Rayan wasn't worried. He seemed at ease.
"You feeling good?'
He hummed.
"Why?'
'I got you a job"
"And why the f**k would I need that?'
"Because you do"
I clicked my tongue in frustration.
"Its inside that building"
My eyebrows raised.
"What, really?'
'Yeah, its aunt's position itself"
My throat turned into a lump.
'Wait, what?'
"Yeah, you heard me. But no, this is a sign of danger"
'Yeah it is", I was on my feet now.
"But we got safe entry inside"
"Easy entry, not safe"
He cleared his throat, "Keep a hawk's eye but take it"
My eyes went wide.
'You won't allow me to just chop of his head, like a spy or anything. You actually want me to...GET INSIDE HIS DORM AND LET THEM GET THEIR HANDS ON ME?"
'Yes"
Fuck.
That was danger.
"But Rayan-"
"Love him"
My ears must have heard them wrong because I tossed the tiny table of food almost.
"What?!"
"Yeah, that is the only emotion Mr Aiden doesn't know...so make him so much in love that he turns the tables for you"
Woah, it sounded so impossible.
"Why? Why......this much trouble?'
'You actually want to dig deep and avenge Aunt, right?"
I did yeah.
"Then you have to do this. Its the only way to play it safe"
'And if I get caught.."
A loud sigh. And there was so much pain in there, I sensed.
'Its do or die....yeah"
Funny enough, but I decided to do it.
And to this day, I don;t know why.
