A Dangerous Dance
(Audrina's POV)
The music thumped through my veins, the bass vibrating in my chest as I swayed on the dance floor. The strobe lights flashed around me, illuminating the swirling crowd in bursts of color and light. I felt free, lost in the pulsing rhythm, in the way the alcohol made everything seem distant and hazy.
“Audrina!” Thessaly called out over the music, her voice slightly slurred as she spun around, her blonde hair fanning out like a halo. “You look like you’re about to float away! Where’s your head at?”
