Lizzy Today was one of the days I would spend at the bar with Summer. While I was cooking, I had my books open so that I could study at the same time. I had one more final for this semester then I would be done for the summer. Having your best friend as your boss helped when it came to studying while working. And as long as I got the orders out fast enough, she didn't give a s**t if I had my books out. We had spent the morning working together to get the bar restocked and the hamburger patties made so I could just grab them from the trays in the fridge. I also had an extra thing of meat already mixed with the seasonings in the fridge to make up more parties if needed. We no more than opened for the day, and we heard the sounds of bikes out front. Knowing whoever was pulling up out front would be ordering lunch, I went ahead and tossed a couple of burgers on the grill to get them started. Sure enough, a moment later, I heard Summer greet whoever walked in. From out front, I could hear Summer talking with the guys that came in a moment before coming over to the little window area that separated us. "Cookie and your dad are here with a couple of new guys. Axel and Tats want a cheeseburger and fries, and Cookie and your dad will have their usual." I nodded and tossed a few more burgers on the grill, and dropped some fries. While I waited for everything to cook, I looked over some of my notes. When everything was done, I plated everything and took them out myself since my dad was here. Normally I would toss them up in the window for Summer to take care of, but with how busy I had been the last week with finals, I hadn't gotten to see my dad much.  Walking out of the back with the four meals in hand, I made my way over to where the guys were sitting. A few other guys walked in as I came out, Summer greeting them as she pulled out their usual drinks and getting them on the counter. She had down what all the guys liked to drink. None of them ever really diverted from what they wanted. They also generally stuck to the same things when it came to the food, so it was easy to prepare for the day. The only times we had to make something different were Fridays and Saturdays when we got a crowd of people coming from outside of town to hang out. The two new guys Summer said were here had their backs to me. From the back, they looked exactly the same. Both had short brown hair, tanned skin and looked to be muscular. The only difference was one of them had tattoos running up along his neck. My guess would be that would be Tats, making the other Axel. Cookie saw me coming, and a large smile spread across his face. "Oh hell yeah. Boys, you are in for the best burger of your life." I smiled and shook my head. "I wouldn't go that far, Cookie. I do alright. Dad makes them way better." I set the plates out on the table, then leaned down and kissed my dad on the cheek. "Hey, daddy." He smiled at me. "Hey, sweetheart." The two new guys looked the same from the front as well. Both of them had dark brown eyes that matched their hair. The only thing separating the two was the one had tattoos covering his arms and neck.  All the guys at the table thanked me for the food as I walked back to the back to start making up some more burgers for the guys coming in. Summer followed me to the back. "Oh my god, did you see the new guys?" I nodded, "I did." I threw a few more patties on the grill. "I so call dibs on the one with all the tattoos." I shook my head. "Yeah, how's your dad going to like that?" She shrugged. "He will get over it." Again I shook my head. She rolled her eyes at me. "Oh, come on, you can't tell me they aren't hot." I shrugged, "I am not really looking for anyone right now." Sighing, she leaned against the counter next to me. "Oh, come on, Lizzy, you need to get back out there. Even if it's just to get laid." I shook my head at her. "You are too much. Now get out of my kitchen and go serve some drinks before the guys start helping themselves." She shrugged, "I'm not worried about them. Come on, at least admit they are hot." I rolled my eyes. "They aren't bad looking." A large smile pulled at her lips as she pushed away from the counter. "See, now was that so hard?" She smacked me on the ass, making me yelp. "SUMMER." Laughing, she skipped back out of the kitchen. All I could do was shake my head at her. I loved the girl, but sometimes she was a bit embarrassing. And I hoped like hell none of the guys could hear our conversation, including my dad. No, let me rephrase that, especially my dad. She was right, though. They were both definitely good-looking. And part of me hoped I would get to see more of them. The fact she "called" Tats was fine by me even. It was Axel that had caught my eye while at the table. There was no mistaking the fact he checked me out, even with my dad right there.
