Surprise on Dead Bear Trail
“You strung that dead bear up didn’t you?” Bill said to Yohan, who took a limping lead down the trail. “When Ryan found it, I thought it was your way of trying to scare us so Susan wouldn’t fire you.”
“You’re talking crazy,” Yohan said.
“I think,” Camp said, “maybe he just wanted to keep us off that trail.”
“Keep moving,” Bill said to Yohan, who had stopped and turned to stare at them.
“Is Michael down there too?” Camp asked. “Or did you just kill him outright like Tracy and Casper and leave him in the woods?”
Bill bet on the latter. Michael was most likely dead somewhere. He wondered if anyone would ever find the body.
