The dinner with my parents went great. I felt rejuvenated after getting to spend time with my parents. After dinner and talking later I was ready to retire for my room to rest but my mom stopped me. I waited patiently when she said she wanted to talk about something. The way she was biting her lips and fidging in her spot I thought she was in some trouble. Holding her left hand, I made her sit beside me. “Mom, are you in some trouble? Is it someone bothering you? You can tell me” I enquired softly. The mere thought of someone hurting my family was making my blood run cold. I was ready to go on a rampage to destroy anyone who had any intention of hurting my loved ones. She shooked her head and kissed my forehead. I looked at her confuse and she sighed. I held my breath as she started to talk. “We have a proposal for you. A marriage proposal to be exact” My eyes widened when she spoke those cruel words. I felt like someone poured the molten coal in my ears. My breath stuck in my throat. I was feeling like someone was choking me.  Oh no. Not again. "Mom please, I made it very clear the last time and I am not going to change my decision." "Do you love someone?" She asked angrily "Yes. I am mean n-no. No" I shooked my head in negative. How could I tell her that I loved someone whom I meet only once in my life? But one meeting was sufficient for her to capture my heart. Her beautiful dark black eyes, her heart-shaped lips, milky white skin, her waist-length brown hair. I remembered everything about her. Even thinking about her arouse the hibernating feeling and desire I was suppressing all those years. She was mine the minute I saw her. It's all started five years ago. I was in my final year of MBA. It was Saturday noon, we won the football championship against the computer science department. My friends were so happy and decided to celebrate this victory in the pub. But I refused by saying I was having some work. It's not like I didn't party and enjoy myself with friends but I didn't like drinking alcohol. It's against my family moral and I too didn't drink. So I politely refuse. After chitchatting for a few minutes I bid goodbye to them and started my bike enjoying the drizzling rain over me. The sky was turned into grey even in the afternoon. I loved the rain, whenever I got the chance I enjoyed it wholeheartedly. The big lights at the partition of the road lit up. The cool wind was soothing for my skin. I stopped my bike on the side and closed my eyes feeling blessed. I opened my eyes when I listen to most melody music. But It's not a melody but the voice of someone's laugh. I looked here and there but found no one. I got off the bike and looked at the other side of the road and then my breath stopped. I saw the most beautiful creature on earth. She stood there in the middle of an empty road spreading her arms welcoming the rain. She was enjoying herself with her friends. I went close to have a perfect view and my world stop when she looked in my direction smiling. Even her smile was breathtaking. She didn't saw me as I was stood behind the bushes. Her eyes were the first thing that got me, Her black eyes were so deep like an ocean and I felt myself drowning in it. I didn't know for how long I stood there drinking her appearance with my greedy eyes. Something stirred for the first time in me. It's not like I never date or never being in relationships but that only time pass. But seeing her I knew that I will do anything to maintain this smile on her face. I never believed in love before. When someone said about it I laughed at their faces but now, I knew how it felt to love someone. I did not know if I even have a heart or not. But I know for sure it starts working after meeting her. My heart starts beating wildly with her mere glimpse. He wants nothing more than make her his by all means. I tried to approach her but my feet like rooted to the ground. I mesmerized seeing her black eyes which cast a spell on me, I hadn't seen anything other than her eyes. The spell brooked when I saw them approaching a car. Ignoring the car coming on my way I ran towards her, but before I could reach she left with her friends leaving me alone there like an i***t. I stood there looking at the spot where she was laughing. I smiled remembered her smiling face. Unknowingly a smile crept on my face. I ran my hands in my hair to calm my self. If someone asked me where she lived before I couldn't tell but since that day, she was living me in my heart. She was the queen of my heart. She was the girl who stole my heart. "Kuch to bolo, Abhi. (Say something)"Her voice brought me out of my reverie. "No," I said absentmindedly. "Then it settled. You are going to marry her whether you like it not." She gave me a look like Don't - you-dare-to-refuse-now. I kept my mouth shut and nodded my head in yes. "You will be going to love her as we adore her even we just met her two times" She smiled kissing my forehead. I gave her a small smile in return. "Let me call them and inform them we are ready for this marriage" She smiled ear to ear and leave me alone for fighting with my inner battle.  That's it. I was going to marry someone whom neither I know nor I saw her. I felt like a defeated person even though I was a millionaire with having some good looks but in terms of destiny, I was just a poor man who couldn't even fight for his love. Who the hell I am kidding? I didn't even have a love life! 'You are such a loser' My inner self-mocked. 'No, I am not' I bite back. 'Then why did you agreed to marry her?' Those words were enough to make me speechless. 'I have to do something I can't marry her. I need someone help.'I concluded. I picked up my cell phone and dial Karan Bhai number. He was my big brother and best friend. He was like my night in the shining armour, just kidding. But he always helped me in my troubles. I rang the call. "Hey" "Hi, Bhai. Are you busy?" I asked impatiently. "No, not at all. Are you in any trouble, Abhi?" He asked concerned. "I am fine bhai, but I need your help. Can you meet me at koozies five 'o clock sharp?" I have to do anything to make this marriage stop. "Yeah, I will be there. See ya" He says and hung up. I hope he will agree to help me. *** I reached there before Karan Bhai. I wanted to stop this marriage at any cost. I didn't have any problem with the girl but my heart belonged to someone else now. "hey, Abhi."Karan Bhai said and side hugged me before taking a seat in front of me. "Hey, Bhai. you look handsome today" I said nervously. "oh. are you high on weeds?"He laughed.  "No. No. why? Why did you say that?"I asked confused. “Because you compliment me, even wants to talk to me impatiently" He was so smart and why won’t he be. He was known as the king in the construction business. No one was near him in smartness and deadly ways. "Bhai, I think mom already told you" He gave me a look to carry on. "She wants me to meet the girl and say yes, whether I am ready or not" "So." "I don't want to marry her, "I spoke. "So don't"He sated as if it was as simple as taking a walk in the park "But mom Nahi manegi na(but mom will never agree) "I whined like a child. "Toh Chup kar or ha kar de shadi ke lie(just shut up and say yes to marriage). the girl is beautiful and smart. she is a perfect match for you" "Ap bhai ho ya Dushman"(Are you my brother or enemy?" "You can't do anything bro. just meet her and then decide what you want. You never know what if you like her"He said dreamily. "Right?" I huffed in annoyance.  It looks like I don't have any choice other than meeting her. Why god? Why?
