I tilted my eyebrows as Travis held my hand. He gently pulled me behind him as if trying to protect me, and from his shoulders I looked over at his mother and the other lady who walked in with her. Why were they staring at me like I had said something I shouldn't have?
“Travis is that who I think it is?” His mother asked.
“Yes mother, this is Isabella, Luna of the Wells pack,” He replied. I noticed their faces shrink in fear, including the face of Enzo, Travis's father.
His mother slowly walked up to my side. Her eyes folded sadly as she took hold of my hand. “She is really the one,” she searched my eyes carefully and then looked at her mate. “Enzo, this is Emily's daughter,” she said.
