"I never thought I'd be the jealous selfish type. I might not show it, but I am. I will give you your space, time by yourself. But don't forget me. I need lots of attention. Especially by you. Napangiti na lang si Maxim. "Did you know that You are my superhero?" Tanong nya matapos halikan si Nicholas.

"Hell yeah! Really?." Nagniningning ang mga mata ni Nicholas sa nadaramang kaligayahan.

"Yes! You are my Spiderman. You shut me down with your web and cling me tight into your arms. You may not hang yourself up to the wall but you amazed me on how long you can hang up to the promises that you told me. You never failed even once. You don't have a superhuman strength, but your ability to love truly is more than enough to conceal your weaknesses. Hindi napigilan ni Nicholas ang sarili, bigla na lang nyang hinalikan si Maxim. Kung hindi pa sila kinapos ng hininga hindi pa sana bibitaw si Nicholas sa dalaga.

"Mamya mo nako halikan pwede, ha! Patapusin mo muna akong magsalita, naiintindihan mo ba'ko?" Galit galitang sabi ni Maxim sa boyfriend na malapad ang pagkakangiti sa kanya.

"Sure" sabay halik ulit kay Maxim pero saglit lang naman. Masama tuloy ang tingin ng dalaga sa kanya, dumistansya ito naglakad patungong sofa at umupo ng naka cross legs. Tumabi naman sya ng upo dito, patagilid ang posisyon nyang nakaharap kay Maxin, inabot nyang kamay nito saka tinapik tapik.. Napabuntong hininga na lang ang dalaga saka nagpatuloy sa pagsasalita.

"Babe.... Gusto mo bang ma heart attack ako? Nababawasan kasing oxygen sa baga ko, hirap huminga! whooo..." Pisil sa ilong lang ang naging sagot ni Maxim sa kanya.

"You are my Batman. You may not have luxury cars and high technology gadgets, but just by holding my hand and hugging me tight, I already feel safe with you. Your strong personality and your gentleman manners, I can say that I can trust you everything. That despite the dark things that build the whole you, I can still let you be in my life because I am sure that you will always hold on into your promise just like how you told me. I know somehow, I still have a lot of things that I don't know about you, but those things don't matter anymore because I know, there would be a time when I get to know you completely unmasked. You are my Bruce Wayne and I am your Selina Kyle."

"Haahh... Lalong lumubo ang puso ko weeww... Meron pa ba Babe or last na'to?" Tinatapik tapik na ni Nicholas ang kanyang dibdib sa kadahilanang pabilis na ng pabilis ang pagtibok ng kanyang puso. Nakangisi lang si Maxim na nakatingin sa kanya.

"You are my Thor. Your love is as mighty as that of the heaviest hammer. Every time you are near me, it feels like thousand bolts of lightning are between us, lurking around us, and it feel so right. Whenever I am with you, I feel protected because I know you would never dare to let me be in danger. I never doubted your strength. Like that of the God of thunder, you have that strength to make me fall for you everyday, and I am happy enough that you never failed to catch me right in time. I am not afraid as long as you are by my side. I am just a normal girl who fell in love with a normal boy with extraordinary kind of love. I am your Jane Foster."

They were stared at each other, both smiling while holding each others hands.

"I never expected to have someone like you in my life. Someone who is willing enough to spend her time thinking about me and making me happy. I never imagined that destiny would give me a person who would honestly care for me and love me for who I am and for who I have been. This feeling is so overwhelming and I always think that this is too good to be true. But just when I am about to slap my face to see if I am dreaming, you're always fast enough to catch my hand, kiss it softly and say "I love you, Babe."

"Haha..you don't really forget that moment Nicholas? hmm.. Everyday, as I open my eyes after a deep comfortable slumber, I always thank God for giving me such a sweet and loving person whom I can be with for the rest of my life. A person whom I can share my thoughts and problems with. Who will guide me along the way until I am weak enough to even walk. Someone who would catch me from every downfall, and someone who is willing to fly with me for my every success. I thank Him because He never failed to choose the right person for me, and for making my wishes come true. I thank Him because you came and saved me from all the wrong people who were blinding me from the true meaning of love."

Nicholas kissed her lips and hugged her tightly, then he whispered....

"When you passed in front of me, the sudden feeling of electricity came upon me, and I never knew that it means you're the one. I know I let go a lot of time before I came over the thought of letting you in, but I have no regrets. Because right now, those wasted times are all worth it. I never regret letting you in my life. I never regret changing a bit of myself for you. All I know is that I am very happy loving you and I am contented, very contented and I could not ask for more. Loving you is the second best thing I've done. Letting you in my life was the first. And it's all worth it my Baby Maxim, all worth it."

He pulled Maxim closer to him and hugged her tightly. He didn’t realize until those few days how much a hug meant. To have someone hold you could be the greatest medicine of all.

"I knew when I met you an adventure was going to happen. Yes, it's all worth it my Baby Nicholas, all worth it, because, we're destined to each other. It's our destiny."

Destiny... Some would believe, some would not. It's a matter of choice. But, is really someone out there destined for us, or is it vice versa? I'm the one destined for him/her?

Love would be the sweetest thing a person can give. "Destiny" would always be only a support for me, we still have the choice, we still decide who we love, it very ironic to think that the person we have now and we love is the one destined for us but when the feelings change and gone, we would conclude that he/she is not the one and yet you are not destined. Sudden changes? We can't tell them, we can't dictate love. All I know is go with the flow, only God knows who's the one, we just have to wait. Some might already found theirs, some, still needs to wait. Just, keep yourself busy, in no time he/she will come .
