I was busy working happily when an email came through. I didn’t look at it until I took a quick coffee break from writing. Noah and my brother were off for some meeting again.
“Noah,
There is still no sign of Emily.” I blinked, feeling stunned for a moment. It was obvious that the email wasn’t meant for me and someone had made a mistake, but why hadn’t Noah told me?! How the hell did Emily escape?! My confusion very quickly turned into anger. I started pacing and by the time Noah and my brother returned from their meeting I was beside myself.
“Why the hell didn’t you tell me?!” I growled as the two of them walked in. I could see that Noah instantly knew what I was talking about, but my brother looked shocked. I turned my attention to Noah.
