I eventually found that spark as we booked into the hotel and I noted a young omega in one of the corners of the hotel. The poor girl was so thin and pale. I instantly started writing the story in my thoughts while we made our way upstairs. As soon as we walked into the room, I found the desk and plopped onto the chair while opening my laptop.
My fingers floated over the keyboard at such a rate that I didn’t even notice when Noah kissed me goodbye. Coffee appeared beside me while I was working, but I only drank it after it had already grown cold. I could see the entire story play out in my mind’s eye and kept working. When Noah finally returned, I was stiff after sitting all day and I finally felt as though I could take a break.
