Chapter 6 – I never saw my dad

“Master you took a long time, we are already late. Mr. Alex will scold to us” Alfred said while speeding the vehicle.

“Alfred, I am sorry, but you won’t believe that what happened inside there” Ethan’s face is bloomed in happy like a flower garden.

“Master you look so happy. You must be met an important person there” Alfred looked on Ethan from the rear mirror.

“Alfred, remember the lady whom we met yesterday, that accident happened at the park” Ethan’s mouth has a big smile.

“Yes master, I remember her. I remember the harsh way she talked to you” Alfred said

“I met here there Alfred, she is working here, Alfred I need you to find everything about her as soon as possible” Ethan leaned to his seat and started to think about her beauty. The moment he captured her into his arms when she was falling, it was like a movie. He can see into her grey eyes with long eye lashes even for a year.

“Master, may I know why you are so interested about this lady?” Alfred asks.

“Just find me the information Alfred, even I also don’t know that. Oh and also one thing, I want to expand that children park larger. Give me the information of all the land lords who lives near the park. I’ll pay them and take the lands to broaden the park” Ethan said and started to work on his laptop.

After few minutes they arrived to the office. When Ethan entered to the board meeting room all the departmental heads were there and they stood up. Ethan came to his chair and his dad was already there.

“Son why are you late? I know you are punctual, but for the first time you are late” Mr. Alex is a kind person who is in his 60’s. He is the GM of the Wayne industries and soon to be retired and handing over all the business to Ethan.

“Sorry dad, I had to buy few stuffs on the way, shall we start then” Mr. Alex started the meeting and it went up to noon.

They provide lunch packets to the meeting participants. Ethan is in a hurry to see his love Selena.

“Ethan, are you all right son? I saw you are disturbed? During the meeting time, time to time you were smiling. Are you OK?” Mr. Alex asked while collecting his files.

“No dad I am totally fine” Ethan feel ashamed of his self. Did I smile during the meeting? What a shame, others must be also noticed it.

“If you are not busy today come to the Wayne mansion and spend the day with us. Mom was all the time talking about you”

“Not today dad, I have some work. I’ll come in another day. Give my regards to mom”

“She is worried about you son, all the time she is talking about your marriage and grand kids”

“Does she? Hmmm I think it’s time to think about it” Ethan feels shy.

“Aaaah my big boy is up to something. OK I need to go, see you then Ethan, and give me a call if you need any advice” Mr. Alex winked and went.

“Now, it’s time to go for a spy work. I am coming for you angel” Ethan said to himself and went down to the vehicle park.

“Master, now where are we going?” Alfred asks while getting into the vehicle.

“Alfred, I have some other work so I need the vehicle. You go with others in the BMW and find the information I need.” Ethan said and quickly got into the vehicle.

He drives fast towards the bookshop. He parked the vehicle in a corner and took his binocular and checked on the book shop. He sees people are coming out and some are going in. He took his snack out and had it inside the car.

“Come on angel, come out please, I need to see you for another time. I don’t know what magic you have done to me, but I am coming towards you like a magnet. Are you a witch? Who has done a chanting spell on me? I never ever waited to see a woman like this” Ethan is talking to himself.

“I don’t know and I don’t care you are married and have a kid, but I need you. That’s all I know” Ethan drank water from his bottle and leaned to the steering wheel and watched to see the face of Selena.

Suddenly the door opened and Selena came out to throw some garbage to the bin. Ethan quickly took the binocular and looked at her.

Her brown and black hair all the time falls to her face and disturbing to her. Ethan has an urge to put those caressing hair behind to her ear and kissed her forehead. He licked his lips. A lady stopped to have a chat with Selena. She is talking to the lady with a bright smile on her face. She looks beautiful like a goddess when she is smiling. But why doesn’t she smiling with me when I am talking to her and all the time she is giving me a cold shoulder.

“I’ll make you smile for me baby, wait and watch” Ethan said to himself.

When Selena caressing her hair time to time her wedding ring started to shine into the sunshine. Ethan hates that ring.

His phone beeped and he looked to the phone screen.

“Now what” he said and answered to the phone.

In the book shop

“Aaron, sweet heart, are you done with your homework?” Selena went to check on Aaron.

“I am almost finished mom. When I am done this coloring, I am good to go” he said while rounding his eyes.

“OK sweetheart, I am also near to close the book shop now. It’s almost 8.00 p.m and we need to go home and get ready for tomorrow” Selena patted Aaron’s head and went to the cashier counter to close it.

She put the closed board and shut down the computer.

“Honey shall we go then?” Aaron came with his bag and Selena took the other stuffs.

They both went out from the book shop and locked the doors. There’s no one in the streets since it’s a holiday. Only the sound of wind and dry leaves moving here and there were there. Selena’s car was parked in the corner of the vehicle park. She came to the car with Aaron and kept the things on behind seat of the car. She makes Aaron to sit on the front seat and put his seat belts.

Suddenly she felt that a strong arm covered her mouth with a piece of clothes. She struggle to escape but those hands are strong.

“Leave her, don’t hurt her. Help someone help” Aaron screamed and started to hit the kidnapper with his tiny hands. But another man came and pushed him away.

Selena’s mouth closed and her tears started to flow from her eyes. She cannot do anything and she is throwing her hands in the air. Suddenly she saw that the kidnapper fell on the floor with a loud thud and Selena’s eyes closed and soon the darkness welcomed her.

“You are safe my angel” she heard before she dosed off.

Luckily Ethan was there, he was there to follow her until she is going to her home. He needs to know where she lives does. He saw that two men are trying to kidnap her. They punched the Aaron also. Before Aaron fell on the ground Ethan caught him.

Ethan punched the men and before Selena fell he took her into his arms. Selena was chloroformed and she is unconscious.

“Uncle, please help us. Is momma OK?” Aaron is crying.

“Your mom is OK, don’t cry you are a brave boy. I saw how you fight with those kidnappers to save your mom” Ethan took Selena into his arms and gently kept her inside the car.

“You need to be inside until I teach them a good lesson OK” Ethan put Aaron also inside and turned to see the bastards.

He removed his jacket and started to punch both of them. Ethan is a gold medalist in Marshal Arts and no one can’t even think about his speed and his strong punches and kicks. The blood started to ooze from both of the kidnappers and finally they fell on the floor unconsciously.

Ethan took the phone and gave a call to his bodyguards.

“Trace my call and find the location, there are two men who unconsciously fell on the floor, I want you to bring them to my mansion and keep them locked in the torture room, and there is a car also, bring that too” Ethan cut the call and went to Aaron.

“Aaron, listen to me carefully. I don’t know where you live and I know that you also don’t know to tell me the road directions. So for tonight I’ll take you both into my mansion OK” Aaron nodded.

“My vehicle is over there you go and get in, I’ll bring your mom to the vehicle” Aaron went to the vehicle. Ethan took Selena into his hands and went to his vehicle and gently laid her on the back seat and covered her with his jacket.

“Uncle, will mom be all right?” Aaron asks while checking Selena.

“Your mom is perfectly fine, she will gain her consciousness within few hours” Ethan started to drive towards his mansion.

“You have a lovely vehicle uncle, I’ve never went on a vehicle like this”

“Do you like this?” Ethan felt pity for Aaron.

“Yes, mom always says that if dad is with us he will also buy a luxury vehicle like this” Aaron said with a sad mood.

“Where is your dad Aaron?” Ethan needs to know about the husband of Selena.

“Mom says dad died when I was only four months. I never saw my dad, I only saw his photo. I’ve seen lot of times that mom is crying hugging that photo. I don’t know how dads are looks like, but if I had a dad I’ll play with him every day and ask him to buy me toys and Ice cream and lots of chocolates” Ethan’s eyes went widen when he heard the shocking information. Something got stuck in his throat and he felt pity for both Selena and Aaron. They both are living a hard life and Selena must be gone through a hard time. raising a kid without his dad is a tough challenge.

“You want to play? You can play when you go to my mansion” he patted the head of Aaron and speed the vehicle to mansion.
