Chapter 9 –How dare is she

Selena thought for an option, which one I should send to collect the cheque? Selena doesn’t want to see Ethan ever again. She doesn’t want to wave her hands to unwanted problems. She thought for the whole day, finally she went to meet the manager again.

“Sir, can you go there and collect the cheque tomorrow?” Selena ask with a polite tone.

“Why is that Selena? They requested you to come, not me Selena” Manager said and sigh.

“Sir, I have to finish and balance the income statement and balance sheet for the month, I still had to do lot of works, and so time is really valuable for me” Selena said in a pleading tone.

“OK I’ll go then, since you never said no to me and you are a loyal employee here. Never mind Selena I’ll go tomorrow and collect the cheque”

“Thank you sir, meanwhile I’ll check the stores and put PO to purchase new stationery to us. This is a huge order, we need lot of stocks right” Selena felt a relief.

Selena completed today work and went to pick Aaron from daycare center. Selena didn’t know that her car has a tracker and Ethan kept a bodyguard who secretly provide information about Selena’s daily routine. He kept a bodyguard for her safety after that day incident.

Ethan’s mansion

Ethan had a wash and rested on his bed with Selena’s file. He looked and read the whole file for the entire day, but he is not satisfied and he needs to read it again and again and memorized things about her every single information. Ethan felt that she is a unique woman.

Ethan is impatient to see Selena tomorrow; he went to his wardrobe and pick different clothes. He never picky in his clothes, he wear what is comfortable for him. But tomorrow is a very special day for him. He is going to meet his angel in his office tomorrow for the first time.

“You are driving me crazy baby girl, I don’t know what you have done to me” Ethan told to himself. He picks a grey suit with a matching tie. He won’t be able to sleep tonight.

Next day

“Ms. Jennifer, I’ll pay the term fees tomorrow, I’ll be receiving my salary today” Selena told to head mistress when she went school to drop Aaron.

“That’s good Selena, even we also don’t want to lose an intelligent kid like Aaron” Ms. Jennifer said with a smile.

“OK Ms. Jennifer I’ll leave now, I’ll be getting late to my office” Selena said and went to her car. She reached to the office and started her work. She totally forgot that she needed to collect a cheque from Ethan and on behalf of her their manager is going.

In the office Ethan is getting ready to meet his angel.

“Alfred, send the vehicle to pick Selena sharp at 11.00.a.m. and prepare the lunch for her and Aaron, ask housekeeping to decorate the floor and my cabin with flowers and I need a Gardenia smell air freshener. Oh the flowers should be fresh roses” Ethan’s heart is jumping out from happiness.

“OK master, I’ll do it” Alfred bowed and went out.

Time to time Ethan is checking time; he can’t focus his mind for another work. The time came to see his angel. Alfred sent the vehicle, to bring Selena. Ethan is impatiently waiting to see Selena. He sat on his chair and he doesn’t want to show his uneasiness to Selena, and turned to the opposite side of the door of his cabin.

Selena’s manager doesn’t know anything of this and knock on the door.

“Come in” Ethan said from inside.

“Good morning Sir” Manager greeted. Ethan was startled to hear a male voice. He quickly turned from his chair and stood up.

“Where’s your book keeper? Where’s Selena?” Ethan asks with an impatient tone.

“Sir, she is quite busy with her work, since this is the end of the month she had to close the monthly income accounts of the shop. She requested me to come and discuss with you about the deal and collect the cheque” Manager says in a polite manner.

“How dare is she? How dare is she to reject Ethan Alex Wayne’s orders ha? Is this some kind of a joke to you?” Ethan clenched his teeth and fist. His bluish veins are popping out from his forearms and knuckles. He is yelling to the manager and throwing everything from his table.

“Sir, I am so sorry” Manager pleaded to Ethan.

“I am going to cancel this deal with you all and you mess with the wrong person” Ethan pointed his index finger to the manager.

“Sir, please don’t do that. Please I beg you” Manager pleaded and kneed on Ethan’s feet.

“OK, I won’t cancel the order, but you have to do one thing for me” Ethan sat on his chair.

“What is it sir? I’ll do anything for you” Manager stood up.

“I need you to stop transferring the salary of Selena’s to her account, don’t try to make me a fool or play with me. I have strong contacts of every bank, if you mistakenly transferred her salary to her account, you won’t be able to think about the consequences of it. Now go, and do as I said and send Selena tomorrow here at the same time”

“But sir, Selena is an innocent lady and one of my loyal employees of the shop, how could I treat her like that” Manager’s face has turned into gloomy.

“You both played the game well, now it’s my time to play it. Go now, and do what I ask you to do” Ethan turned his face to laptop. Manager went out with a heavy heart. He was thinking how arrogant this CEO is and how could he treat Selena like that?

On the other hand Ethan is fuming in anger. He feels to crush the whole world, how dare is she to show her ego to me. Women are dying to sleep with me, but this woman didn’t give a damn to look at me.  

“Alfred, come to my office quickly” Ethan took a call to Alfred.

“Master, you ask me to come, is there anything important?” Alfred roamed his eyes around the cabin.

“Looks like your special guest didn’t arrive” Alfred asks. Ethan gave him a death glare.

“Alfred, there are two things I need to discuss with you. One is change the whole floor decoration tomorrow, decorates with colorful roses and gardenias. Set ups a play room for a kid; it must include every fun activity for a kid. Lunch and snacks must be provided on a separate room and there must be a special menu for kid without spices” Ethan’s cabin is located at the 35th floor of the Wayne tower. It is the top floor of the building and top of that there is a helipad also. In this floor there is only Ethan’s cabin and some empty cubicles. Rest rooms, guest rooms are there.

“I’ll do it master, and what is the second point?” Alfred asks.

“How about the ongoing work of that children park expansion? Did you talk to the land lords who are living close to the park land?”

“Master I did according to your instructions and I even paid to them also. I have talked with a construction company and day after tomorrow they are starting the work”

“That’s good Alfred. When do they end the work?”

“Master most probably at the end of next week they will finish it”

“That’s great to hear Alfred, for the opening of park you must send invitation cards to Mayor and Selena. Selena must come to the opening with Aaron” Ethan looks towards the Alfred above the laptop screen.

“I’ll do it master. Anything else master” Alfred was about to leave

“No, nothing you can go now” Ethan’s phone started to ring. He looked at the screen and attends to the call.

“Well played Selena, you are a beauty with brain ha. You want to escape from me? Try it as much as you can Selena, but I’ll chase you to the hell and bring you back to me. Now it’s time to play according to my rules.” Ethan thought when he finishes his call with a wicked smile on his face.
