Chapter 8 – Whom should I meet?

Aaron came running to Selena. Selena hugged him tightly, like her life depends on him.

“Mom, are you OK? I was worried about you. Luckily uncle was there to save us. Mom you didn’t see that how uncle fought with them right, he fought like a hero in a movie” Aaron jumped from Selena’s lap and showed how Ethan fought. Selena rolled her eyes to Ethan and Ethan laugh for them.

“Enough talking, did you had your dinner baby?” Selena kissed his cheeks.

“Yes mom, Elsa aunt gave me a tasty dinner and she played with me also. Mom, can we stay here for every day?”

“NO”

“Yes” both Selena and Ethan said at once.

“Ha” Aaron looked at both of them with his opened mouth and big eyes.

“No, we never stay here and tomorrow early in the morning we are leaving, and don’t even think about to come back here and meet anyone from here, got it?” Selena said while cupping Aaron’s cheeks.

“OK mom” Aaron said with his long face.

“Look Selena, if Aaron needs to stay here you can stay here”

“No, are you crazy? Who are you to us and who are we to you? Nothing right and this is the last day we see for each other and never ever come in front of us again” Selena said in a harsh tone. Ethan’s heart got heavy and he got hurt when she says so. He looked down; Selena felt that she was too harsh.

“Listen Mr., I am a widowed mom and you are an unmarried person right, if we going to meet and behave as friends, others may get wrong interpretations which is not good for both of us. Thank you very much for every help you did, thank you for saving us” Selena said in a low tone.

“We will meet again and again angel, if the destiny doesn’t have any plans, I’ll create plans for us” Ethan though from his mind.

“Where can we sleep for tonight Mr.” Selena can’t remember his name

“Ethan, it’s Ethan Alex Wayne. You can sleep here in my bed I’ll go to the next room”

“Wait, this is password protected, how could I open the door if any emergency occur” Selena said

“Hmmm, that’s right. Then I’ll sleep here in the couch, you both sleep in the bed”

“No, I can’t sleep when a stranger is inside the room, we will go to the other room”

“That room I have to prepare and the staff must be sleeping now, I can’t bother to them”

“It’s OK; we can adjust for a one night, besides we are not sleeping in a comfy bed at home”

“Have you been in the school debate team Selena?”

“No why?” Selena ask with a puzzled look.

“I wonder why didn’t they saw this talent of you, all the time arguing and debating with me” Selena rolled her eyes to Ethan, but a small smile came to her lips.

“Listen, it’s already midnight stop arguing and sleep” Ethan went to the wash room.

The room is huge; Selena never saw such a huge and beautiful room in her life. The bed is comfort like she is sleeping in a feather. Selena and Aaron sleep by hugging each other.

Ethan came out from washroom and saw the way how this stubborn mom and cute son is sleeping.

“I’ll make your life a better place Selena, I promise that” Ethan said to himself and slept on the couch.

Next day morning

Selena and Aaron woke up around 5.00 a.m and got ready themselves to go for their home.

“I’ll drop you two” Ethan said.

“No, no thanks Ethan, you have done a lot for us. I have my car, we will leave on that” Selena said.

“As you wish” Ethan said lightly.

“Ma’am I have prepared some breakfast and lunch for you two” Elsa came running to Selena.

“Oh, thank you so much, why did you bothered?” Selena said with a beautiful smile.

“It’s nothing ma’am, after all you are a special guest of our master, he never brought a lady to our mansion, you must be special to him” Selena gave an uncomfortable smile. Ethan pressed his lips and looked at Selena.

“Thank you very much, we must leave now” Selena got into the car with Aaron.

Aaron gave a tight hug to Ethan and Elsa and went to the car. Selena started the car and they went out from the mansion. Ethan looked at the car until it disappears from his vision.

“Master, sorry to ask from you, but that lady is very beautiful, who is she?” Elsa asks from Ethan.

“Time will let you know Elsa” Ethan turned back to go to his bedroom. He took his tab and checked the map. He put a tracker to Selena’s vehicle, so that he could know where she goes.

Ethan looked on the bed sheets which Selena slept. He took the sheets into his hands and hugged and kissed them. Those are smell just like Selena.

“Master, pardon me, here is the file including all the information of Selena ma’am” Alfred handed over the file. He quickly took the file and opened it. Front page attached a beautiful picture of Selena, his angel. He was looking at her picture with an awe feeling.

“Master I think we need to prepare and go to the office, we have few meetings today with clients” Alfred said to Ethan.

“OK Alfred, take the newest range rover which I bought last week. You go and get prepared” Ethan laid on the bed with the file and started to look into it. It has every small detail of Selena. Her likes and dislikes, favorite food, what she doesn’t like to eat, her favorite colors everything.

Ethan got prepared and looked into his ipad to check on Selena. Her vehicle has stopped in a one place, so this must be the home address. Ethan came down and went to office with Alfred.

“Aaron, quickly get dressed baby, we are getting late” Selena prepared the breakfast box and lunch box of Aaron. She filled the boxes with the food which Elsa given to her. Those food looks tasty and colorful. Elsa has given enough food to both of them

“I am ready mom, shall we go?” Selena and Aaron got into the car and went towards Aaron’s nursery.

“Selena” Ms. Jennifer came to Selena.

“Selena, I hope you can pay the term fee this week” Ms. Jennifer asks in a kind tone.

“Yes Ms. Jennifer. I’ll pay them on or before this Friday as soon as I get my salary” Selena said with a smile.

“OK Selena, see you then” Selena came to her car and sat with a sigh.

At Ethan’s office

Ethan had few meetings with clients, but all the time his thoughts are filled with his angel, why does she all the time is in my head? Why I feel something different about her, she is also a woman. Ethan thought every time.

Ethan checked the file of Selena. She is working as the book keeper as the book shop. Ethan got an idea.

“Christina, come in to my office now” Ethan called to his secretary.

“Sir, is there anything you want?” Christina came to his cabin with a smile.

“Yes, take a seat. I need to do a charity work for schools Christina. I need to distribute stationery to all the schools of the region” Ethan asks while typing something on his laptop

“Sir, why suddenly a charity work?” Christina asks with a question look.

“Because I need to do so. There is a small bookshop in the middle of the town, you contact the manager of the book shop and do the necessary work. I need there staff to be here and pack things” Ethan said and Christina noted down them all.

“But sir can’t we order and get the stationery through our main stationery provider to office? Their stationery are the highest quality stationery in the country” Christina suggested.

“You do what I says Christina, are you the CEO or am I?” Ethan gave her a death glare.

“Sorry sir, I’ll do it” Christina nodded and went out.

“I am going to meet you soon my angel” he said to himself with a smirk and leaned back to his chair.

At Selena’s book shop

“Hey, Selena are you coming tomorrow, we are having a small party because it’s salary day tomorrow” a coworker asks from Selena.

“No guys, you all go. I have some work” actually Selena lied. Selena need every penny to pay for Aaron’s school. She doesn’t have money to waste.

“Selena, come to my office” Manager gave a call to her.

“OK Sir, I’ll come” Selena went to the manager’s office.

“Selena, come take a seat. I have an important message to give to you” Manager’s face seems like very happy.

“What is it sir?” Selena asks.

“Selena we got an order for a huge Company to provide stationery for a charity work which they plans to conduct. This is the biggest order ever received to us Selena.”

“Really sir! congratulations then. So what shall we do then?”

“Selena, if we conduct this order properly we all can get more bucks extra this month Selena”

“That’s a good news sir”

“They need to meet you tomorrow”

“But, Why me sir?”

“Because they give the advance 50% in a cheqe, to receive that you need to go there. They need to collect it by our book keeper. They will send a vehicle here and drop you back here also.”

“What’s the Company sir?” Selena asks.

“It’s Wayne Industries, you may heard of them Selena, they have the biggest chain of companies in the country” Selena heard about the Company.

“Whom should I meet sir?”

“You need to meet Mr. Ethan Alex Wayne, their CEO” Selena’s eyes went widen; her mouth open and throat went dry.

It is the worst night mare that Selena needs to see.
