"Why?" Hooman asked me. She looked confused.
How do I explain? I didn't want to scare her, but someone was watching her. I pulled Hooman away, looking for a safer place.
"Where is your class?" I asked.
"At the end of this hallway," Hooman replied.
Shit! Why is it still quite a distance away? And damn it, this hallway is so empty. I wonder where the humans in this building are? Could it be that they're all in the classroom?
"Logan, what's going on?" Hooman asked me again. "Did that Rogue come here?"
"I'm not sure. But we better hurry up."
I quickened my pace towards Hooman's class. I looked at Hooman's expression for a moment. She was confused, and there were still remnants of the earlier fear. Who was terrorizing her? How dare that creature terrorize my mate.
