Chapter 5: Falling In Love With Her Target

"Seriously? Did you kiss him or he kisses you first?" Charlie giggled and pulled her next to him. It shows in his face the excitement about her story regarding Theophile. "Okay tell me how to kiss a nerd and billionaire Theophile Demetrio?" he asked.

She initially pouted her lip to add more excitement. But he looks so disappointed when he sees her reaction. She bends forward him and whispered. "He's damn hot and a good kisser," she said with a wide smile on her face.

"OMG! I want to meet her, girl. I want to know how hot and how he made me excited on the bed!" Charlie exclaimed.

Samantha hissed at what Charlie said. "Hey, remember he's mine," she said and intently look at Charlie's face.

Charlie just laughed at the claim she made to Theophile. Even she was shocked by what she said. But maybe it's also good to convey to him that she likes Theophile and that way he has already taken.

"I'm just kidding, I know you like him. It shows in your face," he said. Then he stands up and a little bit walked away from her. "What that little demon told you?"

"Who?"

He laughed, "Raymond the demon who sent you to your mission?"

She instantly stops and recalls what they talked about after she left Theo's place. There were doubts in her mind about what he was asking her to do especially now that Theo was capturing her attention and even her heart. Again she seems she wants to back out but how is she going to do that.

Charlie must have noticed that he was stunned. "I know what you're going through is difficult, why don't you just sell your company. As of the moment, it's not functional and it's not profitable either," he suggested.

She looked at him intently. He knew she didn't want them to lose the family business left by her parents.

"Or sell your house so that you can pay Raymond Robinson, and you still have something to use to rebuild your business. When your company is back on the track, you will be able to buy a bigger house than this?" he gasped as he gives her an option to what she will do to get out from the hands of Raymond.

She looked at him more intently.

"Okay, fine! I know that you have the memory of your parents over her but think about it, girl. I just wanna lessen the burden on your shoulder. If I only had a lot of money I wouldn't hesitate to give it to you. Even if you don't pay, I feel so sorry for you since your parents died, I haven't seen you smile at all. Just now when you were talking about Theophile. That made me curious to meet him," he sincerely added.

She almost burst into tears at what she heard from her friend. That's what she liked about him, he was a true friend and he was the only one that didn't leave her in times of good and hardship.

"Okay, before we cry here, stand there and eat. I have a pizza, I know it's your favorite," he continued.

She immediately smiled when he offered her pizza.

"What funny about what I said?"

"Nothing," she quickly replied.

Charlie looks doubtful but he never insisted on asking. "I am happy seeing you smiling again," he whispered then starts eating his pizza. "Do you want some?" he offered again.

She giggled and shook her head. "I'm full, we ate pizza-"

"You ate pizza? You mean, you ate with Theophile Demetrio?" Charlie clarified what was trying to tell.

She shook again her head to agree on what her friend wants to emphasize.

"Tell me more about what you both shared. Aside from the kiss and pizza?" he tittered. Charlie starts to beg her again to talk more about Theo.

Somehow her sadness disappears every time she remembers, Theo. He didn't know why her heart was so happy every time she remembered what they had talked about before especially the events are hard to explain how happened. Like their hot kiss, the fun they talk about while eating pizza and how Theo indirectly asks her out for a date.

Charlie sighed exaggeratedly. She noticed he was starting to sulk because he had been asking questions before but it seemed she had avoided answering his questions.

"He asked me for a date?!" she roared in her excitement.

"What?!" Charlie exclaimed as he never expected what she said.

"I said, he asked me for a date!" she repeatedly guffawed.

"OMG! I am too happy for you, girl. I'm too curious to meet him and see him in person," Charlie exclaimed.

But she also quickly became anxious because she still had to do her mission. It was only now that she was afraid of what Theo would do to him when he found out that Raymond had sent him to get his plans and ideas for his next product.

"What if he will found out that Raymond sent me to be his spy? I'm afraid I might get hurt afterward," he said.

"Confess to him as easy as one-two-three," Charlie replied as if it was easy to do what he said.

She bit her lower lip at the advice of a friend to do to solve her problem. Maybe instead of being able to solve, she will be even more involved and worst ended up in jail. What if he made the mistake of thinking that he liked her and that he was trying to seduce her? She knows that despite being a nerd, he is a genius too.

Theo became even more curious about Samantha. Again, he tried to access her account and due to the hacking skills, he succeeded. He gathered a lot about her but instead of being discouraged, he became even more interested. He didn't know what was wrong with him as if he was too obsessed with her.

It was been two days when Samantha passed by to his place. But the desire it aroused in his heart still lingered. He had already gotten her contact number but he was hesitant to call her and ask when she wanted them out for a date.

He stared at each picture of her. Samantha is perfectly beautiful despite being a transwoman. While looking at her beautiful face she couldn't help but think of his mother. Is she able to accept Samantha as her daughter-in-law? Is she able to accept a transwoman to be his wife? After all, he knew his mother, she does not classify and despise people especially those of the third s*x. However he knows very well that his Mom wants a grandchild, how it will happen if he chooses Samantha to be his wife?

He sighed.

He heard a knocked on his office door. "Yes?"

The door opens and saw the face of the lady whom he thinking. "Sam?!" he yelled in surprise.

Samantha draws a smile on her face looking at how shocked Theo in her visit.

Theo immediately regains himself and he wants to recount his action earlier. "Great to see you again. You look good, what brought you here?" he asked.

Samantha confidently walked toward Theo. She stops right after in front of his table and grabbed his eyeglasses. "That's a lot better," she murmured after removing his large and thick eyeglasses.

Theo narrowed his eyes. He is still not used to not wearing eyeglasses especially and his eyesight is weak. When he opens his eyes, he saw that his laptop was still open and the beautiful face of the female guest was on the screen, so you quickly closed it before you could see it.

"What are you doing here?" he asked again. Samantha looked at him intently before she answered. "Nothing, I miss you!" said Samantha.

Theo knew she's seducing him especially and he started walking towards his seat. He caressed him as if she massaging his shoulder when his door suddenly opened and he saw his mother from there. In shock, he immediately stood up.

"Mom ?!" he shrieked. He's Mom laughed, "Don't worry son. I'm not going to scold you. But mind introducing me to your girlfriend."

His mom was amused looking at Samantha standing next to him. He wanted to correct the mother's false suspicion but he didn't attempt. He was only realized that he hugged Samantha's waist and introduced the two. Samantha looked shocked at what was he done but she didn't object either.
