Nicki stood in the gallery admiring the artwork. She would never get over how talented Dominic was. She didn’t see one piece she didn’t like. He’d been busy all day preparing for the gala. He was very hands on. Nicki did her best to stay out of the way. She had been away from home for a little over a week now. Though at first, she had felt a little homesick Dominic had quickly quashed that feeling by taking her to see the sights and do some touristy stuff which she was sure he did not usually do, but for her, he was making an exception.
Before they left California Dominic had taken Nicki to Universal Studios and the Sana Monica Pier. They went to the Chinese Theatre and shopping on Rodeo Drive. Then they packed up and made the long drive to Florida where they were staying
