Chapter Forty-One

1759 Words

SASHA I stayed with Annabel in the kitchen as we prepared for lunch. Nikolai had been called to the office, as he had been called in for an emergency. But not before instructing me to stay indoors over and over again. Justin had had to pull him away and out the door in a bid to separate him from me. I loved that they had their own company. Annabel had told me that most of the pack worked there, and it brought in a lot of revenue which was enough to keep the pack running, and pay bills for families. The information made me feel like an i***t for believing they just stayed in the pack house all day, shifting, and racing…and just being idle. I sighed. As much as I loved being here, I missed my friends. I missed my father. But it didn’t change the fact that he was behind this whole saga.
