Ruby’s P.O.V
I was having a girls night with Macy and Rose, sleepover at Macy’s, sneaking out later for a party. It has been the first night is probably over a week I have not spent with Cole; he and I had been spending a lot of time together. I mean a lot, in and outside of school.
“What is up with you and Cole by the way? You were only meant to be doing it to him because you were bored and wanted a challenge, but to me, it seems more than that. Do you like the geeky good boy?” Macy said, rolling her eyes.
I felt myself getting angry when she called him that, but I kept my mouth shut. I don’t need to give them any more reason to think I have feelings for him.
“It is going to take time; he isn’t like the other ones in school, he isn’t easy for me to convince,” I said.
I felt terrible
