“My mum said it is OK, but we have to call her if we need anything,” I said, hanging up the phone.
Ruby asked me to stay with her tonight since her dad was not home. My mum was OK with it because she trusted me and never wanted Ruby to be in the house alone.
“OK…thank you. Sorry, I have been so needy today, get that way when I am hungover.” Ruby laughed.
“It is OK…I don’t mind.” I smiled.
We had spent most of the afternoon in her bed, watching movies, ordering food, cuddling and there was some kissing in between all that too. It would be strange me staying somewhere else, I have never done it. It would be my first sleepover. God that is pathetic, nearly eighteen and never stayed away from home.
