Love, Family & MY “FEARLESS” SECOND ACT II

“What will be your choice, Nola?” he said in a cold voice that sent shivers down my spine. Before I could speak with my wolf Topaz on the matter, she voiced,” Reject him! I already spoke with Jet, we can’t stay. He is hurt but understands. Topaz took a deep breath and spoke again, “Besides, his nasty ass didn’t even f*** her with a condom… that nasty MF…asking us to suck him with her nasty a** still on him. That’s a hard NO!! Reject him now, I will absorb the pain! So you can pack really quickly and get off this pack land; since we only have an hour!” “Nola, dammit!! What is your choice? I don’t have all day!!” shouted Hudson. “I’m sorry, Jet! Topaz and I love you! We know this isn’t your fault! If there was a way to have you without him, we would stay in a heartbeat! I, Nola Aisha Gaye, reject you Future Alpha Hudson Elliott Arden of the White Fur Pack as my mate and I reject to ever becoming Future Luna of such a disrespectful mate and Alpha. I, Nola Aisha Gaye, reject the White Fur Pack and from this moment on I’m a ROGUE!!” I remember yelling back at him. He dropped to his knees in pain before I even got to the second rejection part. I could tell from the look on his face he never thought I would have the guts to reject him. I can still hear how Jet whined in pain. “How dare you have the nerve to reject me? You are nothing without me. Your dad was just a farmer, your mother was just a plain ordinary bookkeeper, both low on the social-ranking pole and-they are both dead. You are a pathetic orphan. You are stuck here being a burden to your stepfather and his new family. You think too damn highly of yourself, Nola! So take it the f*** back, now!!” he shouted in agony. “Go to HELL, HUDSON!! Accept my rejection you ASSHOLE, so I can leave. I never want to see your arrogant, disrespectful and self-centered A**, again!!” I demanded in his face, refusing to back down. I didn't care about anything he was trying to say just to hurt me. My father died when I was little. My mom got a second chance mate. Then, she died leaving me with my stepfather. Now, my stepfather has remarried. “Fine, you will regret this, b***h!! I, future Alpha Hudson Elliott Arden of the White Fur Pack accept the rejection of Nola Aisha Gaye as my mate and Future Luna as well as a member of the White Fur Pack. You, Nola Aisha Gaye have one hour as of right now to be off my land or you will be considered a trespasser and killed onsite.” Hudson stated coldly. Never showing any pain with my head held high, I walked to my room to gather my stuff. It wasn’t hard to quickly pack, I didn’t have much. I had $3,500 to my name, so I grabbed it. I took my favorite leather jacket, my jewelry box, my birth certificate and all my important paperwork, my only remaining framed photographs of my birth parents and my grandparents, my scent masker, my leotard, my tights, my ballet shoes, tap dance shoes and two brand-new pairs of tennis shoes….that Hudson had just brought me. I also packed four days’ worth of clothes with brand-new panties and bras still in the packaging and left. I was walking out the door in less than fifteen minutes with my brand new Louis Vuitton duffle bag, tote bag and wallet. My tote bag had my brand-new laptop, phone, I-pad and chargers along with all my skin care and hair care products. I’m a black girl, so that also means I am not leaving without my favorite hair bonnet. I walked quickly and was off pack land in another fifteen minutes. An easy task since our home was located close by the border. I knew I could pace myself a walk into town in a good hour and forty –five minutes. I just had to stay on the main road, which was all neutral territory from here on out. The plan was to go to the human city New York, get lost, maybe rent a room, find a job till my 18th birthday. I had a little over a year and a half to research and find a new pack to join. I wasn’t built to be a rogue wolf. I’m not an omega, nor am I a rank wolf. I am just a regular wolf. No one in my family has ever even been a warrior. Hudson had even refused to let me train to be a warrior when I had suggested it. Like I had insulted him. But I had foolishly thought any good Luna should know how to fight, too. I never even bothered to call my stepparents as I walked to the bus station. I knew they would take Carla and Hudson's side. No matter what, they both could do no wrong in their eyes. I was lucky and ungrateful to have Hudson. Therefore, I only called Principal Morgan, who was kind enough to let me test out early…he would email me the exams, and he would email me over my diploma and transcript. I contacted the human lawyer, Kenneth Brunson, who handled my family affairs and requested he freeze all access to the trust fund set up for me by my parents and grandparents as well as evicted my step-family out of the home that was legally mine. For the sake of public image, my stepparents pretend they keep me around because they are good people. However, I know it’s for the money and my house. They are both in debt up to their eyeballs and take advantage of living rent-free in my home. Plus, they get three thousand a month to take care of me and with one phone call I had just successfully cut them off. Everything was based upon me living with them. If I am a run-a-way, no funds will be released until I return. They had left everything to me in the event of their deaths. So, yes, I may be an orphan, but I’m not a broke one.
