Isabella's POV
Aiden's comforting arms held me so tightly as I closed my eyes, falling asleep, with tears still in them. My heart was heavy, but I was grateful for Aiden who was with me as his presence helped to ease the pain just a little bit.
My dream world was no longer haunted by the face of the red-eyed man but also of that very moment when Dan ripped off the only source of income I had from my hands. That moment played over and over in dreams, and now it was officially my new nightmare.
Thankfully, the morning came soon, but I was woken up by Mia as she made a loud bang, that got Aiden and I up in an instant.
'' Okay... I think I would just keep my options to myself,'' Mia let out and Aiden hurrily rushed out of bed.
'' I should leave,'' he said, and Mia chuckled.
