CHAPTER THREE I’m not sure exactly when we left The Cove the night of our last final exam, the night that it all went down, but last call was at one in the morning, and I know we each ordered another big beer then. “I happened to pick up a twelve pack for us earlier. In case we were still thirsty after we left here tonight,” Wyn said, as we chugged our last beers and headed for the door. “It’s back in the dorm waiting for us.” He reached down and picked up the big pile of cash we had put on the table. It was always his ritual to find Sheila and hand her the money directly on the way out if she didn’t come by when we were ready to leave.
